Although some of us might be dreading the end of summer and are more than satisfied with slated summer releases such as the New Balance White Pigeon, Fall 2009 will soon be on its way alongside three fresh new colorways of the New Balance M510J. While all three colorways will include the shades of grey that we have grown to expect from New Balance shoes, these three will also consist of a white & pink, a white & yellow, and a white & neon makeup, respectively. With these refreshing colorways, New Balance makes a great attempt at instituting vibrant modifications to a classic trainer shoe.

Staple Design’s latest installment continues with another anticipated release under the pigeon moniker. Set to release the “White Pigeon” New Balance 575 on August 18th, the white pigeon is strikingly similar to the last New Balance 575 pigeon, but the dark grey is now replaces with an off white. Also note that like other staple design releases expect these to be limited to 1000 so mark the date on your calender if you’re planning on getting a pair.

Earlier this year, New Balance dropped six new colorways of their 455 model, and the folks over at NB have decided to release five new styles for the Fall 2009 season. The first pair yields a brown base with blue, burgundy, and cream accents, while the second colorway hosts a charcoal upper with mustard accents. The third style features a red and blue colorway, while the fourth pair yields a brown upper with yellow and black accents. The final New Balance 455 from the Fall 2009 collection features a grey upper with brown and green accents.

In addition to the New Balance 575 Pigeon x Staple Design Jeff Staple has designed yet another pigeon inspired shoe on the New Balance 575. This colorway has been dubbed the “White Pigeon” as the shoe consists of a primarily off white/bone upper rather than the dark grey upper featured on the previous release. The “White Pigeon” is scheduled for an August release and as with the last release, expect limited quantities.

What we’ve come to expect from New Balance over the years is, well, the expected; there’s no doubt that their footwear has retained a remarkably a consistent look for a long time. However predictable, New Balance’s upcoming line for the Fall/Winter of 2009 contains some interesting new materials and colorways for the brand. The 1500’s seem to be catching a lot of attention, from a simple white and tan colorway to a neon yellow, black, white, and gray. Also keep and eye out for a more limited 574 pictured here, an interesting remix on the NB classic, featuring a metallic silver heel and accents. All together, New Balance is making an effort to remain contemporary without straying too far from their proven formula.

With Fall season right around the corner, New Balance has come up with two new colorways for the New Balance CM996. The CM996 model comes in blue and white colorways, both with suede toeboxes and white/grey midsoles and soles. The toebox is perforated and contrasted by leather mid-panels where the “N” symbol resides. The inner lining is made of mesh material and the tongue features a fresh New Balance logo which is adjacent to a stylish metal button. “New Balance” is stitched on the back heel panel in cursive to finish off this clean model.

With America’s Independence Day just around the corner, Sneaker Files will be paying tribute to four sneakers that successfully capture the spirit of America throughout the next few days. The first sneaker on that list is the “Made in USA” New Balance 993. As the name of the sneaker denotes, this New Balance model was manufactured solely in the United States of America. Though it is extremely uncommon for sneaker brands to manufacture their products in the USA, New Balance has been doing so since 1906. The newest sneaker from NB’s Made in the USA collection is this 993, which hosts a grey suede upper with black and white accents. The New Balance 993 “Made In USA” is now available at select retailers for around $125.
