NB575HorseHair

About a week and a half ago, we showed you a preview of a New Balance M575 done up in Horse Hair material. While that particular pair consisted of a white upper mixed with brown horse hair texturing, this New Balance pair is a JP575 and contains other slight differences. Only the mid-panel containing the New Balance “N” comes in black horse hair, stretching upwards to the back heel. The rest of the upper seems to consist of green suede with dark brown on the toe box. As for the sole, it is made up completely of white towards the front and a black/white speckled pattern toward the back of it. Grab these now from certain New Balance retailers at a very affordable price.

New Balance has been making a lot of moves as of late- such as its recently reported on teaming-up with Overkill. With these two pairs, however, New Balance has decided to keep the creative juices confined to their own team and implement tribal cues onto the CM996M. The first pair pictured comes in a light tan/light grey upper with many accenting colors including most notably pink, blue and brown. The second pair comes in a predominantly black upper with purple and teel accents in places such as the inner lining and sole. Two more eye-catchers are the beads on each set of shoe laces and a colorful design on every tongue. You can check in with your local New Balance retailers and cross your fingers for these releases, or try and look to online retailers before it’s too late.

NB9951

New Balance is known very much so for its collaborative efforts with several, often times foreign brands. Take the teamwork behind the CM1001 and CM1500 we previewed for you earlier. New Balance isn’t showing any hints of slowing down the collaborations- as we now have a look at these CM995’s, which are the result of a team-up between New Balance and Green Label Relaxing. Obviously, it’s fitting that the shoe’s upper comes in green leather. There are also light grey accents on places like the NB logo and the sole. However, to get your hands on these you’re going to have to get them shipped from Japan or take a trip there yourself- as these have only come out there, and there is no word of a stateside release.

NB10011500

One of New Balance’s recent projects with mita Sneakers (and Hectic) resulted in a pair of blue 580’s. Now another Japanese brand in Oshman’s joins mita Sneakers and New Balance to produce two sneakers- a pair of CM1001’s and 1500’s. The CM1001 sports a predominantly grey suede upper with dark grey mesh on the toe box. The CM1500 comes in an even lighter grey suede upper with white on the toe box and blue and yellow accents near the ankle area. The CM1001 is actually nicknamed the “History Gradation” and is expected to release in December of this year for somewhere around $150. The CM1500 is also known as the “Authentic Combination,” and it is expected to retail closer to $200 when it drops in January of next year. If more pertinent release information comes up, we’ll keep you updated. But expect these to be easier to get a hold of through Japanese retailers than in stateside New Balance retailers.

MT580

While we recently got a look at the New Balance team’s red/black/white MT580, Stussy has been busy working with the likes of Clae on a pair of Kennedy’s. Now these two have joined forces, along with Hectic and the Undefeated crew as well, to come up with another MT580 we’re happy to preview for you here. From what we can tell, the shoe seems to be made of predominantly black suede with purple and pink accents. Little information is known about an official release other than the fact that certain Stussy, Hectic, UNDFTD, and New Balance retailers will, fittingly, have these for sale for somewhere between $180 and $200. Stay tuned for more news as it becomes available.

BrownNBCM1700

When United Arrows teamed up with New Balance, one of the results was a pair of CM1700’s. Now New Balance has produced two new colorways of the classic silhouette- one in a brown nubuck style and another in black leather. Both pairs possess white and a little bit of grey on the soles, with the outsole coming in complete black. If you’re a fan of the CM1700 model from New Balance, then you might also be aware of the ABZORB cushioning system that makes it quite comfortable. These pairs of New Balance CM1700’s are part of a -as it says on the tongues- limited edition, so you’ll have to find a particular in-store or online New Balance retailer carrying these.
