The New Balance 1500 model seems to often be the silhouette of choice when it comes to special occasions or limited releases. It was the model recently chosen for a purple/black limited edition release that some of you genuinely liked. Now, the CM1500 is once again the focus of another collaboration between New Balance and nonnative. Pictured here is a collection of two pairs of the CM1500 that nonnative and New Balance worked on, which is set to release this December- at least from some very select Nike retailers. One pair sports a predominantly navy blue suede/mesh upper with white and sky blue accents, while the second pair sports a grey suede/mesh upper with very similar accents. What are your thoughts with respect to the latest take on the New Balance CM1500?

In a recent post we showed you some plans New Balance has in store for the 577 model next year. It has now become evident that New Balance’s Japanese side is experimenting as well. The A03 from New Balance Japan strives to create a hybrid shoe/boot that protects your feet from trying weather. The two pairs of the New Balance Japan A03 pictured here sport nylon uppers and suede toe areas, and both consists of fur lining to help keep your feet both warm and comfortable. One pair comes in a pink/black colorway, while the other in a tan/brown one. Because these come from the New Balance Japan line, your best bet at a shot at owning either/both of these is going to be an online retailer. What do you guys think of this innovative New Balance product?

About a month ago we saw three pairs of the New Balance 577, which were a result of a collaboration between the brand and Overkill. Now we know that the 577 is at least one model the New Balance team will focus on next year thanks to these few shots of two pairs set to release at some point in the spring/summer of 2010. One pair sports a red/brown/white colorway, while the other uses green instead of red, and both contain mesh on the toe box and near the heel. Who out there is already looking forward to these two pairs of the New Balance 577?

In May, we brought you a look at a collaboration between United Arrows and the New Balance team, which resulted in, for one thing, a CM1700. Now, the United Arrows retailer will be from where the results of a collaboration between Beauty & Youth and New Balance will release. In celebration of Beauty & Youth’s 20th anniversary, three pairs of the New Balance 1700 have been prepared. The collection includes one pair in dark brown leather and two pairs including suede and mesh materials in black and in grey colorways. As we said before, these will release through United Arrows, and it’ll be sometime in December.
