Coming this February is one half of the “Workforce Pack” from New Balance and Burn Rubber.

Utilizing the MT580 as a canvas and Burn Rubber’s hometown of Detroit as inspiration, the “Blue Collar” kicks feature a grey mesh and suede upper alongside a gum sole and orange accents on the Rollbar and top eyelets. Special Burn Rubber lace jewels, insoles, and a hang tag complete the special package.

Look for these to drop on February 1 for $150 at spots like CNCPTS.

Recently we wrote about the New Balance 1574, which will be a part of the brand’s Spring 2011 lineup. But the brand has also since then been collaborating with PHANTACi on the MT580 pictured here with a “Green Hornet” theme. The upper comes with an array of different black leathers that include perforated and patent touches. The midsole is white and green accents come by way of the outsole and ankle lining. You can be on the look-out for a January 29th release from PHANTACi.

Detroit-based sneaker boutique Burn Rubber was lucky enough to get a chance at working with the New Balance team on the MT580 running silhouette. Pictured here, the Burn Rubber x New Balance MT580 comes with a mostly grey upper that consists of mesh, nubuck and 3M materials. A slight hint of patent leather and a gum outsole rounds out the upper, while along the inside of the shoe you can find a multi-colored argyle pattern. Long standing collaborative trio, mita, HECTIC, and New Balance, have teamed up again to create this interesting version of the New Balance MT580. A bit darker than their most recent efforts, the model takes on a dark grey/black suede upper, with a hit of white on the lower midpanel, and red and yellow accent work on the N and laces. The sneakers sport a price tag of around $195 USD, and can be pre-ordered from the mita Sneakers website now.

The MT580 sneaker model from New Balance has been at the forefront of several collaborations, including most recently one between, naturally, New Balance and a trio made up of Stussy, Hectic, and Undefeated. The MT580 is once again the silhouette of choice between New Balance’s newest collaboration, this time with 686. It is sure to remind many, especially New Yorkers, of the Mets colors- as it comes with a bright orange upper, minimal white accents, and a blue speckled sole and set of shoe laces. This very exclusive pair of sneakers is part of an outerwear collection and is limited to 20 pairs. Simply put, you can now probably only find a pair of these for sale by exercising your sneaker connections or finding what is bound to be a somewhat pricey pair from another lucky recipient. Previewed yesterday, we now have some more detailed images of the upcoming Stussy x Hectic x UNDFTED x New Balance MT580 collaboration model. Set to release in Japan later this month, the colorway features a dark navy suede upper, gum outsole, and shiny purple two-tone lining. With all this detail work now visible, the model has certainly come a long way from the first look we gave you back in October. Stayed tuned for any further release information, as we keep our fingers crossed for the model to make an appearance stateside.

Last month we gave you a preview of a pair of the New Balance MT580 in a predominantly black suede upper with pink and purple accents. Well, all four collaborators have come together to the tune of another MT580- this time in a predominantly dark purple suede colorway with minimal pink and black accents. We can tell that the laces come with an emblem that reads “UNDFTD;” but besides that, the only thing left to inform you of is that these will be releasing at exclusive sneaker shops in Japan come this November. Should word of a stateside release arise, we’ll be all over it- but don’t bet on one.
