This weekend sees the release of the New Balance x Crooked Tongues limited edition 1500 model for the first time to U.S. residents.

The two 1500 models feature premium quality materials, not that we expected any less from New Balance, including tumbled leather, mesh and nubuck. Unique color blocking has been utilized to show off their beauty from the multi paneled constructed uppers.

Less than 250 pairs will be released Saturday, November 12th, at CNCPTS, Reed Space, West NYC & UNDFTD.

New Balance continues to release solid products from their Made in England collection. Unlike the Crooked Tongues x New Balance 1500, this M1500SGB model takes a more subtle approach to the UK made sneaker. Coming in a gun metal grey and black colorway, this high performance sneaker will use high quality mesh and leather on the upper and carry the same great support as found in the original 80′s versions. Not to mention, this shoe will feature a limited edition wooden box.

Coming this October, Crooked Tongues and New Balance will be dropping a new collaboration.

Sporting colorways inspired by their first collaboration from 2004, the Crooked Tongues x New Balance 1500 “Made In England” pack features one pair done up in white/lime/green and another in black/orange/grey.  These 1500s feature a premium combination of smooth and tumbled leather, nubuck, and mesh on the uppers in a clean color blocking scheme.

This timeless 1500 collaboration drops October 15 via Crooked Tongues.

Since the early 1900′s New Balance has taken the footwear industry by storm. Even with larger companies on the rise in the past 20-30 years, the New Balance remains a true classic. Available now, in it’s classic form, is the New Balance 1500 in 2 colorways. One colorway is available in grey and black paneling with splashes of red on the toe box. After bringing you a glimpse of the “Made in England” New Balance 577 pack, it’s now time for another preview. Pictured here is the New Balance 1500 in three colorways that are set to release as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2011 lineup. Suede and mesh materials are used on the predominantly purple and the predominantly red colorways. Meanwhile, the grey colorway uses premium leathers and mesh. Earlier this month we brought you a first look at the New Balance x Undefeated Desert Storm 1500 sneaker, which draws inspiration from different military designs from the Gulf War. For example, the light and dark brown colored mid panels along with hints of blue and red will remind some of Desert Storm operations patches. On the other hand, the premium suede material is said to have been used as it was on some real army boots from the time. UNDEFEATED stores stateside and in Japan will have these available starting May 15, corresponding rather fittingly with Armed Forces Day.

Last fall, the Undefeated team was part of a huge collaboration that also included the New Balance brand and its MT580 sneaker silhouette. This time around, both of these brands have reunited to the tune of an UNDFTD x New Balance 1500 with two different shades of suede brown along the upper as the primary base colors. Red, blue, and white accents can then be seen throughout, as even a speckled sole is used to finish it all off.
