At the beginning of the month, we showed you images of the upcoming Air Jordan V (5) Retro in the classic Black/Metallic Silver colorway that we’ve seen twice before in release history. As we approach the re-release of the Air Jordan V (5) ‘Metallic’, we bring you new images of the sneaker. The upper is changed from nubuck to a softer suede like material and tinted blue sole. Catch these later on this year and enjoy the images AGS brought us.

November is the month for the ladies with the moves to get some new shoes. The Nike Air Troupe Mid Women’s comes in two metallic colorways so you can be spotted easily when you’re on stage. The Nike Troupe Mid comes in metallic silver/black-sail-total orange and metallic gold/black-white. The metallic silver pair sports a full metallic silver leather upper with black swoosh and total orange tongue to make this your not-so-average-pair of shiny shoes. The metallic gold pair rocks a full metallic gold leather upper which features an all-over perforated star pattern. These kicks come with tags that read “So light” in English and French. These shoes are full of details, so check out the pix and cop ‘em for $95 each if you’re feeling them.

We last saw the Bape Roadsta being “foiled” out with the Foil Pack, but this time, things are getting a little more metal. The Bape Roadsta has been released in a new metallic pack, consisting of four colorways. The colorways include brown/gold, red/gold, red/silver, and pink/silver bases, all using white midsoles and white leather bases. The metallic material is used on the toebox, Bape star, and tongue, giving the shoe some shiny accents. These new colorways are available now for about $183 a pair.

The Nike Royal has come out with a surprising bang with the release of the Nike Royal Mid in a metallic design. The Royal features a metallic blue and silver leather upper, along with a black toebox and white midsole, keeping the color tone very clean and modern. To add a twist, the tongue rocks a metallic red hue, giving the shoe some fire. The stitchless swoosh makes this shoe a clean icon, which is set to release later this Fall 2009.

We have seen a couple previews of some of the upcoming releases from A Bathing Ape lately, including the Bape Skullsta and Roadsta collections. We now have a first look at an upcoming Metallic Pack which is composed of two pairs of the Bape Bapesta. The first features a full metallic silver upper accented by a white midsole and white laces. The second style yields a metallic gold base with similar white accents. There is no doubt that both these variations of the Bapesta are not made for everyone and feature some unique color schemes. The A Bathing Ape Bapesta Metallic Pack is set to drop in the Spring/Summer of 2009.

Last year, we previewed both the Air Jordan I (1) High – White / Green and the Air Jordan I (1) High – White / Varsity Red which are both part of a Do The Right Thing pack. It is now obvious that Jordan Brand will be bringing back the Metallic Air Jordan 1 Highs in 2009 and by what we see, the future looks quite promising. 2009 marks the 20th anniversary of Spike Lee’s Do The Right Thing film and Jordan Brand will be honoring the great director by releasing this pack of Metallic Air Jordan 1 Highs. The pack will consist of a white/sea green AJ1, a white/varsity red AJ1, and matching apparel. Both pairs feature quite simple colorways and the only unique detail about them is the inner lining. Both sneakers’ inner linings and the matching apparel are modeled after DTRT’s movie posters. The Do The Right Thing Air Jordan Pack is set to drop in July 2009 with each Air Jordan I (1) retailing for $105. Via SC.
