This time around, the Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) Make Sense comes in a white/yellow/purple colorway, befitting a Los Angeles Lakers home uniform. The shoe uses a full white leather upper and purple flywire stitching where a usual lightweight flywire panel would be. A metallic gold patent leather swoosh adds some nice contrast the the light toned shoe as it matches the inner lining and tongue symbol. This Nike ZK5 comes in a dark grey/neptune blue-black colorway, somewhat resembling the Dark Knight pair. The difference between the M.S. pair and a regular pair of ZK5′s is the leather swoosh against a stitched flywire panel. A colorful printed insole is also placed to match the bright neptune blue tone of the shoe. This pair is set to release sometime soon this year, but you can cop a pair in a full size run on eBay for $105.

After the great success of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), Nike is continuing the signature line with the Nike Zoom Kobe V (5). This time, the shoe comes in a “Make Sense” edition, which rocks a white/purple colorway. The white based leather upper features a metallic silver swoosh with purple stitching flywire on the side panel. A white midsole contrasts the black and purple sole, which features extra durable rubber compound, or XDR. Of course, you can find the Lakers Captain’s signature on the back heel to complete the shoe. Look out for these babies soon!
