First previewed back in September, we finally have some concrete release info for the Made For Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low “Roller Derby”.

Set for a QuickStrike release on Saturday, October 15 (international release date), this collaboration will be available as an in-store exclusive at select SB accounts like Stockholm-based CaliRoots.

Contact your local skate shop to see if they’ll have the unique and extremely limited Made For Skate collab in stock in the coming weeks after the international drop date.

Now we have a little something that could compete with the “Entourage” Nike SB Dunk low that comes out Black Friday. The Made For Skate team has gotten together with Nike Skateboarding to design the Nike SB Dunk low pictured here in a red/black/white colorway. The upper comes mixed with both woodgrain and crackle material, while the number ten is placed near the toe area and a woman on roller derby skates is pictured on the insole. This sneaker’s official release is celebrated this weekend in Stuttgart, Germany, where the Metal Battle takes place between several different athletes on old school roller derby skates. A great colorway and theme, but this Nike SB Dunk low is going to be trickier than usual to get a hold of.

With the Made For Skate exhibition opening yesterday, we get a better look at the Nike SB Blazer designed for the special event. The sneakers feature a unique set of characteristics including a blue base with a yellow swoosh and red highlights around the swoosh and at the heel. To commemorate Made for Skate, its logo is placed at the heel. Other features include a graphic printed insole and a inner tongue label that reads  ”For Skateboard Use Only Not Designed For Other Activities”. However, the Blazers are limited to 24 pairs, good luck trying to get a pair of these. Via CT.

Starting on November 30th, the “Made For Skate” exhibition will be held in Amsterdam capturing five decades of memorable skateboarding footwear. Included in the exhibition is Nike SB, a brand  that has been prominent in the skateboarding market for the past few years. This event will ultimately end with the opening of a pop-up store that will release the Made For Skate book as well as the Made for Skate Nike SB Blazer. The sneakers will be limited to 24 pairs.
