Amidst all of the Nike Air Trainer 1s being used to commemorate professional athletes’ careers, there lies something bigger to pay homage to. Last week, we showed you Nike’s plans to use the Air Trainer 1 and celebrate the entire city of New York; now, the brand plans to do the same to Los Angeles. Pictured here is a Nike Air Trainer 1 designed to celebrate the great city of Los Angeles. The shoe comes in a blue suede upper with white leather overlays, and boasts a graffiti rendering of the abbreviation “LA” atop a red check on the heel. This Nike Air Trainer 1 is set to hit select Nike accounts such as Foot Lockers nationwide next week. So check out more pix after the jump to see if these a must-have for you.

On top of the two NYC and LA exclusive ‘Tiger’ Bapestas we showed you last week, Bape has released another all-Black version of the limited edition sneaker. Dubbed the ‘Black Tiger’, the model features a patent leather blacked-out upper and Grey/White/Red tiger graphic on the heel panel. Like its two tiger motif predecessors, the model is available exclusively from Bape flagship stores in New York and Los Angeles.

Bape U.S. is stepping it up with two U.S. exclusives in the form of two colorways for the Bape Bapesta. The Bape Bapesta Tiger comes in white/purple and white/black colorways, both using patent leather for the purple and black parts. The Bape star uses regular leather and strikes across the Tiger print at the heel. Both shoes use white midsoles and outsoles that sport the offsetting colors. The purple pair is a Los Angeles exclusive, and the other is exclusive to Bape NY; both released today.

Yesterday, we detailed the horrific and utterly shameless looting of Los Angeles based consignment store the Holy Grail and the manager’s guarded optimism of a potential reopen and recovery of goods. Today, HG’s owner Richard Torres maintained that insurance would cover the estimated value of the stolen kicks, accessories and apparel. Torres and his staff have already begun rebuilding the store’s broken down facade and would appreciate any spiritual support, donation of time, or value of service. News of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) Los Angeles Edition has been made available disclosing the specific date as to when the sneakers will be made available. The L.A model will be releasing on Monday, January 19th in limited quantities at the House of Hoops in Los Angeles as well as select Footlockers found below. However, what is unknown is whether or not the sneakers will feature the controversial multicolored logo with a silhouette of Lebron James at the heel. An image of the Zoom Lebron VI appeared not too long not bearing the icon, whatever the case may be stay posted for additional news regarding the sneakers. The Los Angeles edition of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) debuted yesterday and today new information of the sneaker has been reported. A picture of the Los Angeles model has appeared at Leaders1354 with the boutique claiming that their pair doesn’t feature the controversial multi-colored logo at the heel. The logo quite possibly could have been digitally  produced to make it look like the logo correlates to the sneaker. Furthermore, this Lebron VI is from the personal stash of Leaders1354 and there is no word if it will be released anytime soon.

Pictured above is the Los Angeles edition of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6). Earlier in the month the Miami Lebron VI was previewed sporting a bold look. However, the LA version tones things done with a subtle composition of grey upper along with red accents. Furthermore, a multicolored logo on the heel is found along with a white silhouette of James dunking. Lastly, this Lebron VI sports a midsole  featuring a graffiti design as seen earlier in the month on a different VI.
