Before the Cristiano Ronaldo StreetGato drops next week, Nike has another soccer collaboration on store shelves.

In collaboration with Lance Armstrong and his Austin bike shop, Mellow Johnny’s, Nike has dropped a special edition Livestrong x Nike5 StreetGato.  Available only through the shop, these kicks sport a grey suede upper with a yellow and white sole.  Additionally, Mellow Johnny’s branding can be found on the tongues and on the left insole while the right insole is yellow and bears the LIVESTRONG logo.

These are available now exclusively through Mellow Johnny’s for $100.

Normally, when we associate Nike footwear with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, we find sneakers in white and maize or yellow colorways. This time around however, the Nike LunarFly+ 3 ‘LIVESTRONG’ features a different colorway.

We previewed the sneaker in black and yellow before, and this model features Cool Grey/Prism Blue/Deep Royal Blue/Summit White. This model, as opposed to the original LAF LunarFly+ 3, features a more breathable mesh upper.

In the middle of summer we caught a look at the Livestrong x Nike Free Xilla in the now familiar colorway. But for the upcoming Holiday 2011 season, the two have cooked up a completely new collection. Specifically, there have been black/grey/yellow pairs of the Nike Trainer 1.3 Mid, Woodside and Lunarglide+ 3 for the men. Additionally, white/yellow/black colorways of the Nike Air Max Leather, Zoom Vomero+ 6 Lunarglide+ 3 have been designed for the ladies. We’ve seen the full line up of the LIVESTRONG series of Nike performance sneakers. Or so we thought. The Nike Free Xilla returns dress in Lance Armstrong attire.

This Free Xilla is comprised of lightweight, synthetic materials in all black. The yellow sockliner and midsole top off the sneaker, along with the LIVESTRONG badging. The upper is stacked on top of a white Free outsole. These are now available at Nike.

Back during this last Spring, we caught a glimpse of the Livestrong colorway of the Nike Lunarfly+ 3. The Livestrong campaign continues to go… well, strong. That said, today we bring you a look at the Nike LunarGlide 3 from the same campaign in the now known colorway of black/grey, yellow and white. These are available for purchase now through Nike stockists at the going rate of $100 in adult sizes.

A couple days ago, we previewed the Nike “LIVESTRONG” collection set for a Spring 2012 release. Another piece that can be added to that collection is the Nike LunarFly+ 3 LAF in Black/Dark-Varsity Maize. Today, we have an image of what’s to come next year for the Nike x Lance Armstrong Foundation. The Nike LunarFly+ 3 combines a breathable mesh upper and Lunarfoam similar to it’s predecessor, the Nike LunarFly+ 2. As always the LunarFly+ 3 LAF will feature “LIVESTRONG” badging and the proceeds will go towards the Lance Armstrong Foundation. The Livestrong campaign has for a while now been releasing collaborative sneakers with the help of Nike. The black/yellow/white colorway now instantly makes sneakerheads and non-sneakerheads alike think about the Livestrong initiative whether Livestrong is officially involved or not. In this case, it most certainly is. The Livestrong x Nike Air Max+ Tailwind 2010 has been made available from the online FinishLine store. In addition to the black, yellow, and white we’re accustomed to see in these cases, there is a healthy dosage of grey mesh on the toe box and tongue as well. Is this another successful collaborative effort by Livestrong and Nike?
