Nike is giving the Nike Air Max 1 some classic flavor with the release of the Nike Air Max 1 ND West Edition in this sweet white/black-red colorway. The shoe uses black suede on the swoosh and around the shoe, with red suede on the main upper. White mesh controls the toebox to match the midsole, with black inner lining to contrast the shoe. The tongue tag reads the Nike logo along with “West” to signify where it’s from. The shoe is available for pre-order at a price of $155 and will ship out the first of October.

Given that Clae has opened up its first shop-in-shop in Stussy LA on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, the two brands had to have a collaboration to make Clae feel at home with Stussy. The result was the Stussy LA x Clae Kennedy. This Kennedy comes in a navy canvas upper with tan contrast stitching and red logo embroidery on the tongue. A white vulcanized midsole goes well with this dark upper, along with a nice touch of blue plaid print for the inner lining. These shoes will be limited to 100 pairs and available at Stussy LA at the end of October.

Stussy is opening a Stussy NYC flagship store in New York, and to start things off with a bang, it is releasing its collabo the same day. The Stussy NYC x Timberland 7-Eye Chukka Boot comes in two colorways: red and navy. The shoes are comprised of premium leather and suede uppers in its respective colors, along with gumsoles and the Stussy name on the tongue. To make the boot true to NY, the five boroughs are presented on the tongue as well, making this a definite shoe for the New Yorker. These are limited to 80 pairs per colorway, and release August 24th, only at Stussy NYC.

The boat shoe craze is not over yet, because Nike is just getting started. The Nike Mad Jibe Quickstrike is in full effect to take over the boat shoe hype. The shoe has a premium white leather perforated upper to give this shoe a sweet design, along with a clean white midsole and an icey blue outsole, which is something never been done before on any boat shoe. The shoelaces are made of leather and the Nike swoosh is embossed on the side panel to let people know Nike knows boat shoes. This shoe will be available in a numbered amount, but is available now in Europe for about $111.

As a special release for online blogger Wendy Lam aka “NITRO:LICIOUS,” custom sneaker artist Sabotage (SBTG) has customized the Nike Dunk Low to make the SBTG x NITRO:LICIOUS Sawtooth “Poison Ivy” Nike Dunk Women’s. This is the first custom sneaker by SBTG for the ladies. The sawtooth dunk model features a black leather base, shark sawtooth toe area, metallic silver swoosh, pink cheetah print panel, and white midsole with pink sole. Crossbones are featured on the side heel panel and lacelocks, along with the trademark “SBTG” symbol. The shoe is limited to 18 pairs worldwide and are available on RoyaleFam for $400 each.

We last saw the adidas and Crooked Tongues collaborating on the adidas x Crooked Tongues Oktoberfest Munchen. This time around, they’re at it again, creating the adidas x Crooked Tongues Munchen VIP in a khaki/dark brown colorway. Designer Markus Thaler took this shoe to the woodland level, using premium leather material, D-ring lace fastenings, and wool material. The shoe has a white midsole to contrast the dark earth colors. The back heel features the Munchen name and the adidas sign. The leather insole has a sweet print and a flower patch is stitched on the side of the shoe. Of course, the Crooked name is stitched on the opposite side to let people know who the credit goes to. These are limited to 150 pairs worldwide and only sold at Crooked Tongues stores for $110.70; available now.

Asics has once again teamed up with David Z.’s Ronnie Fieg to create the Asics Gel Lyte III in a super blue/grey colorway. The defining characteristic of the shoe is the super blue nubuck found towards the middle of the shoe. It is contrasted by a light grey perforated toebox and other grey panels. Of course the Gel Lyte III’s have its unique tongue, but this time, Fieg added net material to the side and back heel panels for a fresh look. And with the popularity of speckled midsoles, this shoe keeps with the Jones’s. These will be available May 1st only on the David Z. site, limited to 252 pairs.
