If you have seen any of the Cleveland Cavaliers games this season, you have most likely noticed Lebron James coming to the scorer’s table before the game begins and performing his pre-game ritual of rubbing chalk on his hands and throwing the excess chalk into the air. The chalk is meant to give players added grip on their hands and it is used by most players in the NBA, though not in the same way as Lebron James. Inspired by James’ unusual pre-game ritual, Nike has decided to design a colorway of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI commemorating the ritual. Featuring a navy blue patent leather toebox and canvas upper, a “hardwood” colored midsole, and a silhouette of Lebron James throwing chalk into the air on the tongue, this sneaker combines the Cleveland Cavalier’s team colors with Lebron’s unique pre-game ritual to yield an interesting colorway of Lebron’s newest sneaker, the Nike Zoom Lebron VI. While a lot of attention is being directed toward the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6), the Zoom Soldier II doesn’t look like its going anywhere anytime soon, this is evident by the Camo Edition seen only a few days ago and now this Ohio State Buckeyes edition. The Zoom Soldier II conforms to the teams colors and showcases the Ohio State “O” at the heel along with other notable details including the number 3 at the side and an icy outersole revealing a silhouette of Lebron James at the sole. A couple months ago, we featured a preview on this pair of the Nike Zoom Lebron Ambassador which  features a colorway very similar to that of Lebron James’ NBA team, the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Nike Lebron Line has yielded many interesting and complex sneakers as of late and this pair is a well needed change. With it’s simple design and colorway, this sneaker is focused more towards the on court experience rather than being too aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. With all the controversy surrounding Lebron James, a new colorway of his sixth Nike Zoom Lebron may give people something else to talk about. This latest model is supported by a neutral combination of black and anthracite. Black takes up most of the space of the sneaker with areas of anthracite putting a spin on the traditional black on black design. Hopeful Knicks fans crowded the Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night to see their messiah LeBron James square off against a struggling hometown New York Squad. A whirlwind of rumors have surrounded the hyper-athletic James and where he’ll go when he enters the free agent market in ‘10. LeBron debuted the Lebron VI “Big Apple”, his signature shoe colorway dedicated to the city. Toned up in an all-red color scheme, the shoe is an alluring combination of high-grade syntethic leather and patent accents. In addition to a popular signature sneaker line, posterboy Lebron James is due to have another Air Force 1 in his honor. The Air Force 1 Supreme consists of a Cleveland Cavaliers colorway that is paired with an intriguing pattern on the toebox, toe and mid-section as well as a visible heel and translucent outsole. You can also find Lebron’s “LBJ23″ logo stitched at the heel. No word on whether these will be released, but an unreleased sample has been listed on the ‘Bay.

The influence of New York has surrounded Lebron James’ for quite sometime and with a possible move to the New York Knicks in 2010, it could possibly become more evident. Here’s a look at the latest New York inspired sneaker, the Zoom Lebron VI (6). Nicknamed the “Big Apple” this Zoom Lebron VI is composed up of a varsity red upper with hints of patent leather on the swoosh and toe.
