This incredible White/Grey – Varsity Purple Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) recently emerged as the latest colorway of Nike Basketball’s favorite lowtop sneaker. The shoe features a clear middle interspersed with Varsity Purple Flywire strands. A white patent toecap and translucent/Varsity Purple speckle mudguard add a nice level of durability up front. Little is known for now about this Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), but we’ll update when more information surfaces.

Yesterday, we previewed the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) Varsity Black/Concord/Metallic Gold, a shoe that’ll hit retail in mid-October. This white/gold/purple/varsity red sample version of the IV recently hit the ‘net, complete with snakeskin accents a Black Mamba logo, and Chinese print. The shoe’s combination white patent leather/leather upper is complimented by a red-accented Swoosh and Flywire on the medial side, and gold strands and logo on the other. The insoles celebrate Kobe’s NBA Championship and gold medal in the ‘08 Beijing Olympics. A release date for this Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) sample is unknown; we’ll update if and when we learn more!

The Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) will return to shelves this October in this awesome Black/Metallic Gold/Concord color scheme. The shoe features a black front that gradually fades to Concord in the rear (peep the laces!). A Metallic Gold Swoosh and multicolored outsole set this Nike Basketball shoe off! The Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) Black/Metallic Gold/Concord will be available on October 17, just before the NBA season tips off.

This previously unseen Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) sample recently turned up in a white patent/white/varsity purple/black/canyon gold scheme. Like the release version, Kobe’s championship shoe features a prominent outrigger in the front and sculpted midsole for reduced weight in the rear. The Zoom Air unit embedded in the heel and the patent heel cup are also analogous to the ZKIV sitting on retail shelves. The primary difference between the two, however, is the unreleased pair features a leather middle panel, while the one on the Blacks Mamba’s feet is interspersed with Flywire support strands. Varsity Purple stitching reinforcements hold the Swoosh in place on the sample pair. This Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) will not hit shelves.

With the addition of the Nike Air Zoom Kobe IV to Nike iD’s long list of customizable shoes in January, we thought we’d seen the shoe in just about every colorway imaginable. Fortunately, Nike is still finding ways to breathe new life into the shoe, in this instance, offering the quarter and tongue in a previously unobtainable purple. The simple color scheme works well, offering an elegance that may have been missing in some of the busier colorways. No back story yet, but we could potentially be facing a new general release. In addition to all of the Nike Sportswear x LIVESTRONG kicks we’ve seen, Nike Basketball created their own all-yellow rendition of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) LIVESTRONG PE. Inspired by world renowned cyclist Lance Armstrong, the high performance hoops shoe features a patent yellow Swoosh and toe. Black Flywire strands lend support across the midfoot and Armstrong’s “LIVESTRONG” ethos is inscribed on the lateral toe. There is no release planned for the Nike Zoom Kobe IV LIVESTRONG PE, but we’ll update if anything comes to the light.
