Although we know very little information known about the new Nike Hyperdunk Low models we’ve seen popping up over the last couple of months, the one thing we are counting on is the low-top version of the popular performance sneaker making its way into storefronts by early-mid 2010. Of the many scans and samples spotted, the latest is this low version of the exclusive Kobe Bryant Snake Pool PE Hyperdunk.  No news on any drop dates, but if the release is as limited as its predecessor’s, you might have a tough time getting your hands on a pair. Collectors can try their luck with Marquee Sole’s limited Men’s US 8.5 stock.

Mr. Four Rings is not a man who appears much on talk shows, but longtime friend and funny-man George Lopez just happened to be lucky to welcome the Black Mamba to his new talk show, Lopez Tonight. Kobe Bryant presented Lopez with his own pair of Chaos Nike Zoom Kobe V’s, while rocking a pair himself, along with a fresh Nike zipup. A lot of mixed feelings have been aimed at the fifth model of Kobe’s signature shoe, but seeing them in an actual shot, and on #24, is sure to have us thinking positively. It’s always a treat when a Nike sample pop up on eBay. Today, we have a sample of the Nike Air Force 25 Low as a Kobe Bryant Player Exclusive mock-up. The Nike Air Force 25 Low KB Sample features a classic white/purple/black colorway, using a white leather base upper, purple patent leather swoosh, black snakeskin leather heel, and translucent outsole. If LeBron gets his own Nike Air Forces, then of course the Black Mamba does too. The Nike Air Force 1 GS is dedicated to the one and only #24, Kobe Bryant. The kids’ shoe features a perforated white leather base, with yellow and purple leather at the toe and swoosh to match the LA Lakers classic colorway. The upper sits on a clean white midsole with yellow accenting and purple contrast stitching. The outsole is donned in purple to contrast nicely with the white. “24″ is stitched on the tongue tag and Kobe’s signature Nike logo is stitched on the side heel in purple. These shoes are great for any Lakers’ fan’s child.

This incredible White/Grey – Varsity Purple Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4) recently emerged as the latest colorway of Nike Basketball’s favorite lowtop sneaker. The shoe features a clear middle interspersed with Varsity Purple Flywire strands. A white patent toecap and translucent/Varsity Purple speckle mudguard add a nice level of durability up front. Little is known for now about this Nike Zoom Kobe IV (4), but we’ll update when more information surfaces.

Surfacing is a new colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV in black and gold. We see  a variety of materials and patterns featured on this colorway such as snakeskin around the toe box, gold speckled midsole and sole, and gold accents to complete the rest of the shoe. No word on a release date but once again, a very clean colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV.

Shoe customizer SBTG has worked with Nike on numerous occasions including the well known Nike SB SBTG Dunk Low. His seemingly endless imagination translated into a unique style which has brought him much success. With that being said, SBTG dwelled far into the depths of his imagination to complete a special 1 of 1 shoe for Kobe Bryant. The shoe examines the hypothetical realm and ponders the question, “What if Kobe didn’t make make the jump straight to the NBA and became a Blue Devil?” What resulted was a highly detailed Nike Dunk High with a pre-yellowed midsole, discontinuity on each shoe’s midpanels, which are then embossed with Kobe’s signature Shozoko logos. The box itself is a separate work of art which is composed of a laser detailed wooden frame and a plexiglass cover. The climax of SBTG’s work came when SBTG presented Kobe with the custom “Varsity Bones” along a stop of Kobe’s Asia tour. More images on the next page.
