Many NBA stars stay away from rocking another player’s signature kicks, especially if that player has his very own signature line.

However, giving credit where it’s due, Kevin Durant posted a picture of himself wearing the LeBron 9 “China”, proclaiming, “Got my LeBron 9 China joints today. SICK colorway.”

The Nike Zoom KD IV ” Year Of The Dragon” is set to launch tonight with a little help from Kevin Durant himself.

KD will be on hand tonight at the Hyattsville, MD House of Hoops at Prince Georges Plaza to launch the special YOTD makeup of his signature kicks. Set to kick off at 6PM EST, the event will be hosted by Big Tigger and feature live music from DJ P. Chris.

If you happen to be in the DMV, tonight could be your best shot at the kicks, as a nation-wide release is yet to be announced.

Now available from Nike Basketball is this brand new colorway of the Zoom KD IV.

The white/white-black-cool grey kicks sport a predominately white leather and Hyperfuse upper.  Hits of black can be found on the “KD” and “35″ branding, as well as the outsole, while the midsole and Adaptive Fit system are decked out in cool grey.

Featuring a colorway previously unseen on a Durant signature, this KD IV sports a navy upper with hits of orange found throughout.

Set to kick off the new year is a brand new colorway of the Nike Zoom KD IV.

Featuring a previously unseen navy/orange colorway, the kicks sport a predominately navy upper with hits of orange on the outsole and “KD” and “35″ branding, while a white Swoosh graces the Adaptive Fit midfoot strap.

With Nike finally giving the KD line the attention it deserves, we are beginning to see a new era in the Kevin Durant line of signatures.

We previewed the Nike Zoom KD IV (4) ‘YOTD’ colorway not too long ago, and for those looking for more simplistic forms of his shoe, expect to see this simple make up on shelves very soon.
