Back in November we showed you a pair of Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’s’ which had an error many wished would have happened on their pair, in the form of a reversed Jumpman, making the 2010 retro look more like its previous Retro+ version.

The guys over at Sole Supremacy have found, yet again, another pair of Cool Grey’s that is even more like their predecessor. This pair features the traditional translucent outsole featured on the first run of Retro XI’s from ’00-’01. Tinting the outsole with a light blue wasn’t very well received and one lucky GS sized pair ended up without the ice-blue treatment.

By now we have all seen many images of the Jordan XI Retro ‘Cool Grey’. Today however, we bring you detailed images and side by sides with the previous Jordan XI releases since 2008.

The Cool Grey’s pictured are from my personal collection, as are the other XIs, and I have to say the Cool Grey’s are on par as far as quality is concerned. They are worth every penny attached to the $175 price tag, especially compared to last year’s Space Jams and ‘08s CDP. The fit and comfort level are that of its OG/’01 counterpart, something I was very surprised with.

This December will bring back the extremely popular Air Jordan XI ‘Cool Grey’.

Everyone knows how difficult this release will be to obtain, Space Jams weren’t exactly easy to grab last year. If you wear GS size kicks you will be happy to hear that they are available for pre order. Again, above retail price yet most had to spend up to $300 for their ‘Jams’ after many were unable to grab a pair. Jordan Brand has announced some changes in their Release Dates that is more convenient to its consumers. For starters, the Air Jordan 11 – 12 Countdown Pack which was scheduled to release December 26th 2008, just 1 day after Christmas, has changed to December 20th 2008.

Next the Air Jordan Spizike Cool Grey and Citron had a December 31st 2008 Release Date, which lands on New Years Eve. Jordan Brand has changed the release dates for both to December 24th 2008. Sadly, if you plan on purchasing, you have to bump shoulders with last minute Christmas shoppers, and could be chaos at your local spot.
