Although the bump of the Rising Sun has messed with the November Air Jordan XII Retro release schedule a bit, the lone December model should make its way into storefronts on time. We’ve seen some detailed pictures of the colorway before, but now Footlocker has provided us with a view from every angle. You can look forward to the colorway hitting Footlocker and other Jordan Brand retailers on December 19th for the expected $150.

Marcus Jordan, the youngest son of Michael Jordan, is caught in the midst of a sneaker controversy. He’ll suit up this year for the University of Central Florida, who’s got a 6-year, $3 million contract with adidas. He said he would only wear his father’s Air Jordans line. UCF is currently working with adidas on this “unique set of circumstances.” We’ll keep you updated with any new information that surfaces – but, in the meantime, is Marcus in the wrong for refusing to wear The Brand With Three Stripes? The folks over at Jordan Brand have put together a very interesting online feature that plunges deeper into the design and production of Carmelo Anthony’s sixth (already!?) signature shoe, the M6. The website features brief video interviews Melo and the shoe’s designers, as well as some feedback from a performance tester. A lot of us were impressed with the White/Deep Blue colorway of the Air Jordan Hallowed Ground, and fortunately, Jordan Brand is pretty good at recognizing when they’ve got a good thing going. Pictures of two very similar colorways in White/Black and White/Navy have leaked, featuring the same gradient midsole we saw (and loved) on the Deep Blue model. Taking the format of a basic uniform-complimenting colorway, don’t be surprised if the models are geared towards team buyers. No word on any release details, but stayed tuned for more information about the hybrid’s new colorways.

Previewed at the start of July, the latest metallic OG colorway of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High has finally hit the European market. Including the two AJ1 models from the “Do The Right Thing Pack“, we’ve had the opportunity to acquire quite a few important versions of the revolutionary 1985 model this year — although this most recent addition might cost a bit more than the locally available Red and Green DTRT colorways. An international exclusive, you’ll have to deal with all the mess of shipping costs and battling the strength of the Euro, but in the end, I can’t argue that the purchase of such a monumental colorway could be a regrettable one. Check out EST Premium and other international retailers to try and find yourself a pair.

Images of a sample pair of one of the most popular OG colorways of the Air Jordan VII, the ‘Bordeaux’, surfaced on the web this week. Needless to say, they’ve got a lot of people excited. Since making its debut in 1991, Jordan Brand has yet to re-release the model, despite rumors of its inclusion in the 7/16 Countdown Pack. Keep in mind that these are only samples, but they’re certainly a welcomed step towards the possibility of a new release. Gum soles are definitely in for the coming season, with Jordan Brand getting into the mix with a new colorway of their Air Jordan 1 Velcro Low. Featuring a black leather/woven nylon upper, gum midsole, and sandwiching black outsole, the model certainly ranks along side the other Jordan fall releases we’ve seen. The low-top sneaker is available now from Kumastock and other Jordan retailers.
