Not too long ago, we saw the Cleveleand Cavaliers edition of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Phat Premier, and we now have our first look at the pair inspired by the Boston Celtics. This sneaker hosts a black leather upper accented by a green toebox, green laces, white midsole, green rear, and a carpet-like green swoosh. Overall, this pair adequately represents the team Michael Jordan scored over 60 points against in his career, the Boston Celtics. With a plethora of Air Jordan 1 colorways already released thus far this year, we now have a look at the remaining AJ 1 styles for Summer ‘09. Jordan Brand is set to drop twelve colorways throughout July, August, and September. In addition to the DMP Retro 1 Pack, HOF Air Jordan 1, and the Sixty Plus Pack, there will be three high-top styles composed of a white/purple pair, a black/grey pair, and a black on black style. The Air Jordan 1 will also release in two variations with a strap: a Lakers inspired colorway and a white/ginger pair. Along with the higher cut sneakers, Jordan Brand will also be dropping the AJ 1 Low in a white on white style and a white/grey style. Yesterday evening, the 2009 BET Awards hosted by Jamie Foxx were held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Though there were many emotional moments throughout the show, including the grand tribute to Michael Jackson, the ‘09 BET Awards hosted various celebrities that were spotted wearing the hottest sneakers currently available. Though Kanye West has his own signature sneaker, he decided to switch it up and sport a pair of Timberlands instead, while Carmelo Anthony stayed true to his brand and rocked an Air Jordan 1. Ron Artest also left his own K1x sneakers behind, and wore some Air Jordans. 2009 has been dubbed as the year of the Air Jordan 1, and Jordan Brand continues to release new colorways of their first numbered model. This time around, the AJ 1 comes in a clean black on black style. To accent the simplicity of the colorway, Jordan Brand has incorporated various materials into this sneaker. The upper is coated in leather, ostrich (textured) leather, and synthetic mesh, while the sole comes in rubber. Unfortunately, there is no concrete release information regarding the Black/Black Air Jordan 1 (I) High Ostrich, but there are rumors floating around that the sneaker will release in the first week of July ‘09.

Though we have seen a couple previews of the “Curry” Air Jordan 1 Phat Low, it seems as though the final style that is now available at retailers overseas has been changed up a bit. Previously, this sneaker hosted a white upper accented by curry colored elephant print, but it now hosts a full curry elephant print upper accented by a white mid-sole, brown laces, white tongue, curry stitching, and a white/brown inner lining. This AJ 1 Phat Low is extremely different from anything we have seen before, and it goes to show that anything is possible when it comes to Jordan Brand. The “Curry” Air Jordan 1 Phat Low is now available at Air Jordan retailers in Shanghai, China, but there is currently no word on a stateside release.

We have already seen the “Hall of Fame” Air Jordan Six Rings and Air Jordan 2009 (2K9), and we now have our first look at the Air Jordan 1 from Jordan Brand’s upcoming HOF Pack. This sneaker hosts a black leather upper accented by red inner lining, a black patent leather swoosh, white and grey numbers which are meant to represent various moments from Michael Jordan’s career, a white out-sole, and a black patent leather heel. Overall, this pair yields a clean and fresh new variation of a classic model. The “Hall of Fame (HOF)” Air Jordan 1 Retro High is rumored to release in September when Jordan will be inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame.

We have already seen a plethora of previews for Jordan Brand’s latest Do The Right Thing Pack, which is composed of two pairs of the Air Jordan 1 (I), and we now have a detailed look at the white/varsity red sneaker from the pack. This pair yields a white textured leather upper with red accents seen on the swoosh, inner lining, laces, out-sole, and ankle.
