Seasoned vet and 2011 NBA Champion, Jason Kidd, has a new sneaker releasing and no, its not the Nike Zoom Flight 95 (worn Kidd’s rookie season) or Nike Zoom Flight Five (Kidd’s 1st signature shoe). The new PEAK Kidd IV will follow up the Peak Kidd III as worn by J. Kidd during the 2011 NBA Finals and feature two new “home” and “away” Dallas Mavericks inspired colorways.

The sleek signature shoe has many things to offer including “Cushion-3″ technology on the outsole for added comfort, a “Cool Free” ventilation system on the shoe’s mid-panel and in-step, and unique styling including Kidd’s jersey #2 on the heel.

As the new Peak Kidd IV is only slated for a China release at this time for fall 2011, we’ll continue to keep our eyes open for you just in case they hit US retailers.

We’ve seen a preview of the Nike Zoom Uptempo V in a metallic silver/white and orange colorway, that has yet to confirm a US release. While we’re waiting on information on that, images of a new colorway recently surfaced, reminiscent of the LA Lakers.

This Nike Zoom Uptempo V features an all white leather base, purple sock liner and midsole, with yellow accents to rep that ‘Purp’ ‘N Yellow’ that’s remained popular for years. With the Uptempo series blowing up in the Retro category with the upcoming Nike Air Max Uptempo 2 and the more recent Nike Air Max Uptempo 97, it’s only natural that we would see another sneaker of something similar being released on shelves. The Nike Zoom Uptempo V, formerly known as Jason Kidd’s Nike Zoom Flight V, has been Retro’d in it’s OG colorway before. But in light of the recent championship ring on his finger, comes the Uptempo V in a brand new colorway. Hitting Asian markets all over comes the shoe in the white and metallic silver upper, orange accents and splashes of black. Staying try to it’s OG shape comes the silver midfoot support on the midsole. No word on when and if there is a definite US release date, but stay tuned as information rolls in!

What seems like ages ago, Jason Kidd received the Air Jordan IX (9) Player Exclusives when he played for the New Jersey Nets. Fast forward to the current month, Jason Kidd now is endorsed by Peak and won his first NBA Championship with the Dallas Mavericks. After 17 years in the NBA, Jason Kidd finally won his first Championship. While Kidd wore Nike’s for years, his latest signature shoe is the Peak Kidd III. In Game 6, Jason Kidd and the Dallas Mavericks won the 2011 NBA Finals.

The Peak Kidd III’s Jason Kidd wore in Game 6 are up for auction with all the proceeds going to the Jason Kidd Foundation. Kidd’s signature has also been added to the toe box. Right now, the auction is at $2,550, but it is expected to go a lot higher. Check them out on eBay.

Keeping its classical look, the Nike Zoom Flight V has been renamed the Zoom Uptempo V, this could be sparked by the Jason Kidd’s moved from Nike to PEAK. The latest Zoom Uptempo V yields a color-way of white, varsity red, and metallic silver. In addition, the color-way isn’t modeled after past or present teams of Jason Kidd and could be seen on teams consisting of varsity red. Now available at Bingo Runner.
