Throughout the smooth transition in Converse’s line of casual footwear comes a shoe that is somewhat catered to the more mature tastes. We bring you a new version of the Converse JP, the Converse Jack Purcell Mid Leather Boat Shoe.

Unlike the Converse Jack Purcell Skate or Gallery 1950 collab, this JP has matured and features an all premium leather upper in a mid-top boat shoe silhouette, leather inner liner and leather shoe strings.

Converse Japan has dropped two of their classic models in a variety of styles ranging from the Jack Purcell to the basic Chuck Taylor in high and low top. The two Jack Purcells feature a white outersole and black accents to go along with reptile and camouflage uppers.  The rest of the new releases include the Chuck Taylor Hi and Low constructed with a tonal canvas upper available in black, red and yellow. Featuring a weave pattern “Straw” upper, this spare black/black/white version of the Converse Jack Purcell has made waves in Asia. The JP lowtop features metallic eyelets and a white midsole for a bit of visual contrast. Up front, the Purcell’s “Smile” toecap reinforcement enhances durability, while “Jack Purcell” is written in cursive along the heel. The Purcell incorporates a vulcanized midsole, stainless steel eyelets, and a classic toecap to make this shoe a casual that simply can’t be missed. Converse Japan continues to rock-and-shock the overseas market with bizarre takes on the brand’s iconic canvas, the Chuck Taylor. The Purcell’s upper is distinguished by the markings and pattern of the reptile’s exoskeletal shell. The shoe is complimented by black laces, silver lace rings, and a vulcanized midsole. Continuing with the SILLY THING x Undercover “Jack Purcell” series, we get a look at two new variations; Gold and red. As mentioned earlier in the sneaker collection, the modified Jack Purcell’s feature a wider toe box as well as Jun Takahashi’s name on the front of the sneaker, the designer for Undercover.
