Now that the winter weather has hit, Ipath returns with the shearling lined Cat model.

With a slimmed chukka silhouette, these Cats are perfect for skating or just cruising when the temperature drops.

Available in waxed black suede and regular grey, brown, and black suede colorways, these can be copped now for $75 via select skate and lifestyle shops or online at the revamped Ipath.com.

Ipath has teamed up with Vibram to create one of the most unique features to hit a skate shoe in quite some time.

The midsole/ outsole construction has been customized for Ipath’s skate sneakers with an Imprint sole. Increased grip, flexibility and shock absorption are what you can expect when you are pounding the pavement with your board around the city.

Five models using the Vibram Imprint sole will be available which include the Artisan, Nite Owl, Adams and re-tooled versions of the Grasshopper and Cat.

IPATH has teamed up with SaveNature.org to help raise money and awareness to protect vital rainforest habitat in Costa Rica.

The IPATH x SaveNature.org pack consists of three of IPATH’s most iconic silhouettes, each with a new waxed taupe suede or suede and hemp construction. IPATH sources its suede from Silver rated tanneries, factories known for producing leathers in a more eco-friendly manner.

For every pair sold, IPATH will donate $1 to SaveNature.org to help them in their mission ($130 saves approximately one acre). SaveNature.org has raised more than $3.9 million for ecosystem and wildlife protection. They work in 11 countries to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth.

Included in the IPATH x SaveNature.org pack are the Cat, Grasshopper and Langston.

IPATH is releasing a new version of the Cat Low to celebrate Matt Rod’s decade plus years of dedication to skateboarding, IPATH and the Stereo Sound Agency.

A hemp/suede combo, the new kick comes features the iconic Stereo logo on the side in, which also matches the shoe’s lining and grippy vulc sole. Like all of IPATH’s pro shoes this year, the Matt Rod version of the Cat Low features the brand’s More Cushion for the Pushing footbed.

Last Fall IPATH brought out the Aboot, a mid-top sneaker boot designed to be fully skateable, but give the protection guys needed when they were engaging in less than pristine conditions.

For this winter, they’re releasing the Winterized Aboot, featuring an all black premium leather upper and charcoal shearling liner. Featuring the same outsole as found on the IPATH Grasshopper, this sneaker provides top level traction, regardless of if you’re on your bike, pushing a skateboard or trudging through puddles on your way to work.

For winter, IPATH is collaborating with Japan’s Green Lab on a new version of their Shearling sneaker.

Japan’s Green Lab crew sustainably harvests wood from the Nagano forest to create cores for skis, snowboards, resort terrain parks and children’s playgrounds.

The original Shearling is a convertible version of the IPATH Cat, with a flexible upper than can be folded down when you’re indoors.

The updated Green Lab Shearling features a new, waterproof suede and higher gussets than the standard IPATH Shearling, to help keep the snow out. The suede is sourced from environmentally friendly Silver Rated tanneries. Green Lab’s logo is front and center on the tongue and IPATH’s signature stash pockets are on the inside, ready to keep your valuables safe from prying eyes.

In the summer we showed you how IPATH commemorated the biggest international soccer event with World Cup Sneakers. And now that the weather is beginning to cool down, IPATH focuses on having the skateboarder’s footwear needs. Pictured here is the newly invented IPATH Aboot SB sneaker that, although resembling a boot along the upper, is designed to help protect and keep comfortable the feet of skateboarders. These will release from participating retailers and the brand’s online shop some time between now and the end of October.
