After the release of a clean pair of Nike Air Max 90 Currents in a black/university blue colorway, Nike has released an even better Nike AM90 CT to top its brother. The Nike Air Max 90 Current Premium LE comes in a black/black-infrared colorway. Just like its university blue sibling, the shoe features an all black upper with a mix of leather, mesh, and ostrich leather. The black free sole is contrasted by an infrared Air Max unit to match the lace panels and heel panel. The infrared does it all, so get your own pair if you haven’t had enough infrared in your life.

After seeing the Nike Air Force 1 Tech Challenge, it’s no surprise to see that the influence has carried over to the classic Nike Dunk. The Nike Dunk Tech Challenge features a white base upper with an infrared leather swoosh and red toe and outsole. The splatter that made the Air Tech Challenge famous is found on the back panel in black, along with the ribbing at the back ankle.

The infrared sensors are beaming out of control with Nike’s latest Nike Air Max Light release. The shoe comes in the classic infrared colorway made famous by the Nike Air Max 90 model. Back in 2000 before the Air Jordan 6 (VI) Retro – Black/Deep Infrared was released, many sneakerheads may remember that a sample image was seen which depicted certain midsole parts of the sneaker as infrared instead of black. This little deviation from the original sneaker had collectors going crazy and throwing fits. Jordan Brand recognized what the consumers wanted and eventually ended up releasing a product more in line with the Original Air Jordan 6 Infrared. With the 2008 version of the Infrared Nike Air Max 90 being one of the most sought after re-releases, this premium version is making a splash by adding a touch of class to an already classic design. New additions, include a dark ostrich skin mudguard that replaces the traditional style and higher quality materials seen in a few of the close-up shots.
