We recently previewed the “Eggplant” Nike Hyperdunk, and we now have our first look at an Air Flightposite 1 inspired colorway. This pair hosts a metallic gold base, black mid-panel, gold flywire, black tongue, silver midfoot, and black laces. Overall this style is extremely similar to the “Gold” Air Flightposite 1 that was released last year. Though many thought that the Hyperdunk’s reign was coming to an end, Nike Basketball continues to dish out new colorways that are definitely worth checking out. Unfortunately, there is no release information regarding this pair, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

The “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One was released earlier this year, and it seems as though the folks over at Nike have decided to implement the Eggplant colorway onto the Hyperdunk silhouette. This pair hosts a metallic purple upper accented by a black mid-panel, purple flywire, a white midfoot, black laces, and a black out-sole. Overall, this pair yields a fresh new colorway that is definitely reminiscent of the aforementioned classic basketball sneaker. Unfortunately, there is currently no concrete information regarding the release of the Nike Hyperdunk “Eggplant,” so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

Nike will release a Hyperdunk Mid exclusively dedicated to the Philippines later this Summer. Inspired by the Filipino national flag, the hightop shoe is distinguished by a blue patent upper, red midsole, and a yellow speckle midfoot. Red shoestrings bring this instant classic together. The Nike Hyperdunk Philippines will release later this summer at select Nike/House of Hoops locations worldwide.

With a huge amount of attention surrounding the Nike Hypermax NFW, we now have a look at the NFW edition of another Nike Basketball product. Last month, we previewed the Hyperdunk NFW, and we now have more information and new pictures of the sneakers to share. The Hyperdunk NFW will release in four colorways: cyber/white, red/white, cool grey/white, and blue/white. All four variations feature satin uppers accented by white mid-soles, laces, and swooshes. The Nike Hyperdunk NFW (No Flywire) is now available overseas and is expected to be available at select Nike retailers on June 20, 2009.

Earlier today, we previewed the Nike Hyperdunk “Aston Martin” samples. Rice High School in New York sported the Nike Basketball entrant on the court at home during their 2008-’09 campaign in this alluring white/varsity green/yellow color scheme. The shoe’s yellow Swoosh is complimented by matching laces and green Flywire strands. The school’s logo is emblazoned on the tongue with Kobe’s Shinobi emblem. Unless the folks at be decide to release these in ultra-limited fashion at Nike’s House of Hoops, expect the Nike Hyperdunk “Rice Home” colorway to remain in Beaverton.

Remember the online spot that featured a gleeful Ronny Turiaf congratulating Kobe Bryant after the Mamba cleared an Aston Martin in the new Nike Hyperdunk? A sample Hyperdunk dedicated to the clever commercial recently emerged from the depths of sneaker obscurity. Toned in silver foil/mahogany hues, the shoe features the Aston hood ornament as a lacelock. Kobe in “pre-jump” posture is embossed on the tongue, and the progression of his leap for all of mankind is fastidiously tracked on the model’s leather insole. For now, you can expect the Nike Hyperdunk “Aston Martin” to stay locked away in the sample room.
