The Air Force 1 x Huarache is Nike’s newest hyrbid sneaker which combines the shape and look of the Air Force 1 with Air Huarache technology. This pair hosts a simple white on white colorway accented by an icy clean sole which is a great look for the warmer weather ahead. Though the Nike Air Huarache Light Burst is not an extremely popular model, these two colorways might change your opinion on the Nike Running sneaker. It is rumored that the two pairs are inspired by the “Bred” and “Cool Grey” Air Jordan XI (11) colorways. The first pair features a tonal grey upper, a semi-transclucent grey outsole, and white accents seen on the midsole, swoosh, and laces. The second pair yields a mesh and patent leather black base accented by a red outsole and a clean white midsole. That’s right ladies and gentleman, the NBA All Star weekend is finally here. NBA All Star weekend provides all hoop fans with a time to watch some of the best basketball players in the world go out and have fun. For this year, Nike has decked out their top athletes with some of the hottest gear on the market. Ranging from Lebron James’ Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) – All Star Game all the way to the eco-friendly Nike Zoom MVP Trash Talk – All Star Game, Nike will definitely be well represented this weekend. A couple other notable sneakers worth checking out are the Nike Huarache ‘09, the Nike Zoom Kobe IV, and the Air Jordan CP3 II. We have seen many All-Star game sneakers over the course of the past few days including the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) – All Star Game 2009 and the Nike Huarache ‘09 – All-Star Game – East. We are now seeing the western conference counterpart of the latter of the two aforementioned sneakers. This Nike Huarache ‘09 is made for the western conference NBA All-Stars and thus contains a colorway which goes well with their jerseys. Featuring a red upper with white accents, this pair yields a clean and simple colorway. With the word, “West”, on the ankle support and “09″ on the tongue, Nike makes the inspiration behind this pair quite obvious. The Nike Huarache ‘09 is slowly and steadily emerging as one of the top sneakers sported by Nike athletes. The NBA All-Star game is coming up soon and Nike has created a colorway of the Huarache ‘09 for the special occasion. Featuring a navy blue and university blue upper, this pair goes well with the Eastern Conference All-Stars’ jerseys. To finish off the look, Nike has included the word “EAST” on the ankle support to solidify any doubt of what occasion the sneaker is made for. Last month, we gave you a preview of the Nike “Huarache” Air Force 1. That pair yielded a simple white on white colorway which was seen as a neutral sneaker and not anything too special. However, this sneaker features a purple leather upper, a white Nike swoosh, and a seamless black suede toebox–oh, and be sure to peep the Huarache logo on the purple suede tongue–fresh! Nike has been utilizing the concept of hybrids to its maximum lately and they once again have created a hybrid from two shoes within the brand. This time, the Air Force 1 Low and the Nike Huarache will be put together in order to create a comfortable and clean sneaker. At first look, many sneakerheads’ eyes will go straight to the icy sole which many have deemed as one of the best elements Nike has ever incorporated into their sneakers. In order to increase the comfort level, this hybrid includes Huarache technology which is featured in some of Nike’s best basketball kicks ever. Other key elements of this sneaker are the huarache logo on the tongue and sole, the minor changes to the shape in order to give it a sleeker look, and the use of premium leather throughout the shoe.
