We heard about the Nike Huarache 09 N7 a few days ago, but Nike has more in store for the N7 collection. The Nike N7 2009 Collection consists of the aforementioned Huarache 09, as well as two colorways for the Nike Pegasus 26. The Huarache 09 uses considered recycled materials, making this an all-around respectable shoe. The Pegasus 26 comes in a black colorway for men and a white one for women. These runners use full mesh uppers to make them very lightweight. The collection uses native tonals and N7 logos at the tongue to make these special. The collection is available now at Beverly Center House of Hoops, but will release online November 7th. Don’t forget that all proceeds from the sales of these shoes goes towards the Native American community!

This weekend, a new House of Hoops location will be opening at the Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey. To celebrate the grand opening, the Cherry Hill HoH will be dropping the exclusive Philadelphia inspired pack of the Nike Hyperize. The first pair hosts a challenge red felt upper accented by royal blue laces, swoosh, and Nike logo on the heel. The second style yields a varsity maize upper with black and white accents, while the insole features a stars and stripes design. House of Hoops by Footlocker is an extremely mismanaged micro chain of stores. Both store employees and upper management are resellers. I would never expect to find any heat at the House of Hoops. Instead, I would save my time and search eBay for the special makeups and colorways they have in Air Jordans and Nike shoes. Tomorrow, December 27, 2008, all three HoH locations will make available two exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan Melo M5. The first of these colorways was seen on Carmelo Anthony’s feet over the summer when USA won the gold medal in Olympic basketball in Beijing. This colorway features a white patent leather toebox, a navy midsole and the typical Melo M5 side pattern in a navy and white print. Also included on this colorway is the USA Basketball logo and the date of the opening ceremony, 8/8/08, on the tongue. The second colorway of the AJ Melo M5 yields the away colors of the Denver Nuggets. Featuring a black patent leather tongue, a university blue midsole, and a side pattern consisting of maize and university blue, this pair will definitely match with that Denver Nuggets’ jersey you have in your closet. A little while ago, we gave you a preview of the Nike Zoom MVP and now we have detailed pictures of another colorway that is currently available. At first glance, it may seem as though this pair is a running shoe due to its low cut and lightweight design, but you will be surprised to know that this is a pair of basketball shoes that provides enough ankle support for some of the best guards in the world such as Steve Nash. This lowcut design is becoming prevalent in some of Nike Basketball’s recent releases such as the new Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Though the design is great for guards, there is a bit of uncertainty in regards to providing enough ankle support for the big men in the post. This colorway of the Nike Zoom MVP features a white base with purple and orange accents reminiscent of the colors of the Phoenix Suns. Sporting a purple outsole, a speckled midsole, and Steve Nash’s logo, this pair definitely stands out as one of Nike’s brightest releases in a while.
