The Vans Half Cab is an integral part of the Vans Vault series, and today we have our first look at a couple new colorways set to release later this year. The first pair features a grey upper accented by a black lower, black laces, and a white midsole. The second variation hosts similar color placements, but this pair yields a green base with blue and white accents. Both pairs have simple, yet clean colorways, and are definitely worth checking out later this year. As previously mentioned, both these Vans Vault Half Cabs are set to release in the 2009 Holiday season.

The Vans DQM, HUF, Kicks-Hi collaborative effort is ready to drop its second installment this summer. The California skate company collaborated with the boutiques to produce unique limited versions of the vulcanized Half Cab. DQM’s pair features black suede and a powder blue/black checkerboard pattern, while HUF’s pair is decorated in red faux-croc print. KICKS-HI’s pair finished out the threesome with a more subdued black/lime green accents combination of suede and perforated leather. For Spring 2009, Vans partnered up with legendary boarder Eric Dressen to release three limited versions of the Syndicate Half Cab. The packaged collaboration borrows inspiration from the fedora or flat-brimmed hat. Each model is blessed with luxurious felt overlays, a ribbon quarter panel, and gold-leaf custom lining. The Eric Dressen Half Cab “S” is available in black, brown and gray and will be released at premium retailers beginning of March. Via hs.

Skate legend Eric Dressen recently partnered up with Vans to create three unique versions of the brand’s Half Cab. The three-pair pack focuses in on materials and miniscule designs as the earthtone models feature uppers comprised of anything from woollier, suede, and coarse canvas. Each shoe is marked by Mister Cartoon’s Syndicate “S” symbol along the middle panel and West Coast-themed skull and number 13 burned onto the insole. Gabe Morford joins the likes of some familiar names brought together over the past few years by Vans and their Syndicate collection. The well known photographer was first discovered to lending a helping hand for the Syndicate line last year, but now the three classic styles have released. The  Era, Slip-On and Half Cab are constructed to withstand fixed gear riding and skateboarding. To achieve this, Vans and Morford implement a combination of materials that includes Ceraprene on the toe box and Dri Lex on the inside of the sneakers. Lastly each shoe will be packaged with a special tool belt and a U-lock designed by Gabe Morford. All three styles are now available at Caliroots.

One of the most recognizable patterns meets faux pony hair for the latest Vans Half Cab from the Vans Vault collection. A green camo pattern and olive panels are made up of pony hair, a combination of old meets new. However, the Half Cab has been featured in almost every time material, but this is a new direction that the classic Half Cab has gone to. The pony camo Half Cab is now available at Flauge.
