As always, Nike is doing all it can to ensure that its fans are well-prepared no matter the weather or endeavor- extending the collection of Nike SFB colorways dropping this winter season. However, the Gucci brand does not seem comfortable taking a backseat to anyone’s winter needs. That said, here we offer our followers a preview of three Gucci winter boot designs that provide strong ankle support along with Gucci branding and famous color accents. In May we peeked at the Spring/Summer 2011 collection of Gucci Chukka boots. Well, we’re moving away from that season, so Gucci too is starting to release some more weather-appropriate boots. Pictured here is a brown Gucci Duck boot, boasting a mixed leather upper with gum soles and Gucci branding by the heel and toe. Exactly a month ago, we previewed the Air Jordan 2.0 in Black/Varsity Red-Green in various angles, as we come closer to release.

After showing you Gucci’s Spring/Summer 2011 collection of Boat Shoes, today we show you the same season’s collection of Chukka Boots. This year, the Gucci Chukka Boot comes in a dark brown and a beige tonal upper, with subtle Gucci branding on the ankle lining. Both uppers consist completely of suede material, while both also sit atop a completely white outsole for sharp contrast. You can find these at participating Gucci retailers now, both online and in-store.

In preparation for those warm days where sailing or cruising is an actual option, we’ve seen such boat shoes as the adidas Originals ZX 700 Boat. While those days aren’t totally here yet, weather experts promise they’re coming. And when they do, you might want to turn to this collection of Gucci Boat shoes in a mid-top cut to complete your wardrobe. For this Spring/Summer 2011 sneaker season, Gucci has prepared its mid-top Gucci Boat shoe in pine green, very light brown, and light blue suede uppers. They each sit atop Crepe outer soles and should be arriving at Gucci flagship stores everywhere, if they haven’t already.

Although it is not boat weather (at least in the states) you can still feel relaxed with the Gucci Crepe. Utilizing suede olive green uppers and tan stitching. The Gucci Crepe captures comfort with its soft style. As you can see, the sole is rough enough to handle wet decks (or streets) to stop slipping. A clean elegant look from Gucci.

Gucci has definitely influenced many major shoe companies, especially with Nike’s latest Dunk releases. But, the Gucci love still keeps going, as luxury shoe company Creative Recreation has taken a stab at the classic black/red/green design. The Creative Recreation Dicoco comes in the classic Gucci colorway for the low and high top versions. Both versions use black leather at the toe, black mesh at the side, and colored nubuck for the red and green tones. White midsoles and classic gumsoles keep it simple for these luxury items. Both are available now at CR retailers such as Wish ATL; $95 for the low and $105 for the high.
