With the release of the Ursus Bape line, Bape is doing it big with a new sneaker release: the W) Taps x Ursus Bape Apesta Hi Duck. This Apesta closely resembles the Converse Chuck Taylor model, with a grey canvas upper and white midsole and toe to match the white laces. But pay attention to detail, as there are subtle differences like the URSUS logo on the side heel panel and midsole, along with the Apesta back heel logo and tongue tag. This shoe is definitely a keeper for you Bape fans out there, and you can cop a pair for about $160.

After seeing a preview of the Alife Shell Toe Hi-Lite in the Alife Fall 2009 Collection, we have another couple colorways for the classic-inspired sneaker. This model takes influence from the adidas shell toe, and resembles the ankle stitching of the Vans Sk8-Hi. Black/green and grey/pink colorways have been released on full leather and rubber uppers. The black pair features a grey Alife logo on the side heel, whereas the other pair has a pink logo. Alife also makes its mark on the back of the midsole as well as on the tongue.

After seeing many gaudy releases from Reebok that haven’t received the best ratings, it’s nice to see that the shoe company still remembers that simple is sweet. The Reebok Berlin comes in two colorways: black and grey. Both shoes have black and grey leather uppers and metal lace holes, along with white midsoles. These high tops feature the classic Reebok symbol on the high tongue tag. Also, the shoe has accents of snakeskin leather throughout the shoe to give it some flavor.

After hearing about Vans’s new eco-friendly skate n surf line-up, you’ll go crazy over the Vans Rowley Shambles Hi Eco Pack. This skate shoe uses organic materials and the box comes from recycled shoe boxes. The shoe features a sweet print throughout the grey shoe, contrasted by a white midsole and hints of green on the tongue and upper. The main characteristic of the Geoff Rowley’s sig shoe is the strap buckle, whereas shoes usually use velcro. This model promises to be a great one for everybody, and is available May 1st for $80.

A few days ago, we showcased four new colorways of the Nike Lebron Zoom Soldier III (3), and we now have one more colorway to share. The Nike Lebron Zoom Soldier III is Lebron James’ newest signature sneaker and his sneaker of choice for the current NBA Playoffs. This pair of the ZS3 features a grey upper composed of a reptile print with a white speckled midsole, a white swoosh, and yellow accents seen on the inner lining, stitching, and Dunkman logo. The Nike Lebron Zoom Soldier III (3) is now available at your local Nike retailers, and this grey/yellow colorway should be available for purchase in the upcoming weeks.

Now that the Nike Hyperdunk has released in all its scheduled colorways, it is almost time for the Nike Hypermax to make its debut. The Nike Hypermax is essentially made for the forward and center positions on the court due to its high top and rugged construction. This particular colorway draws inspiration from a past Nike advertisement which can be found on the insole, and reads “So Technologically Advanced You Won’t Understand It.” The Nike Hypermax utilizes flywire technology as well as a clear air bubble in the sole to provide a comfortable fit while not sacrificing stability or style. The Nike Hypermax – Grey/Black-Yellow is now available at select Nike Basketball retailers for $130.

For Summer 2009, Puma has come up with the Puma R-968 Mesh Limited Edition Pack, which consists of the R-968 model in three different colorways. The shoes feature combinations of white/sax/black/orange, white/red, and black/grey/white. The R-968 promises to be a breakthrough Puma model, using mesh material all throughout the shoe, along with suede and speckled panels, and other staple textiles. The intensity of the first colorway marks the presence of the Reebok-like model, with the following of two simple yet clean colorways. Also, the shoe uses Trinomic technology for ultimate performance, and showcases the Trinomic name on the back heel panel and midsole. The best characteristic of the shoe is the sole, which features a translucent bolt along the middle of the sole, showcasing the “soul” of the shoe. Be sure to cop a pair of these Puma’s for a price of about $126.
