Last month we brought you some news regarding the release of Greedy Genius’ low-top version of perhaps its most popular silhouette- the Ocean Runner. This bit of news regards the brand’s reworking of the high-top Ocean Runner for its Spring/Summer 2010 collection. Pictured here are black, red, and tan colorways of the Ocean Runner. With leather uppers and waxed laces, these three sneakers will release from participating Greedy Genius retailers towards the middle of this month.

In mid-October of last year we brought you a quick look at a “Yacht Club Collection” of the Greedy Genius Ocean Runner in a number of high-top colorways. This time around, for Spring, the Ocean Runner has been worked into a low-top look. In black, brown, tan, and navy blue waxed canvas uppers, the Greedy Genius Ocean Runner low sits atop an all-white sole. These are expected to hit select, participating Greedy Genius retailers in the upcoming month of May.

Back in the spring season, we brought you a look at some of what the Greedy Genius team had in store for this holiday season. We showed you what many will argue is the best of the brand’s silhouettes to date- the Ocean Runner- in a navy blue and a black colorway. We now have word that these will be a part of the “Yacht Club” collection Greedy Genius plans to unveil this holiday season. Along with the two aforementioned pairs, other Ocean Runners in red and in brown, for example, will be included. Greedy Genius just unleashed two new versions of their nautical high top, the Ocean Runner. The Runner hit the ‘net in black/black nubuck and navy blue/white premium leather and will be available at retailers in the coming weeks. The shoe features a vulcanized midsole, honeycomb outsole, and lacing details (like the prominent “X” on the ankle collar) that improve fit.
