Gilbert Arenas easily took the crown as the sneaker king during the ’10-’11 NBA season amongst other things including losing his Adidas contract. That didn’t stop Agent Zero though as he brought the best in kicks on the court like the Air Jordan Bin 9′s, a pair of Dolce & Gabbana high top sneakers, and even the Air Jordan XI Low Snakeskin.

Gilbert Arenas has made waves this NBA Season as he has worn nearly every sneaker one can think of throughout the year.

Today, Gilbert will begin one of the greatest giveaways of all time via his Twitter accounts; @agentzeroshow & @thesneakerchamp. Each day between 3-6 PM EST, a predominantly basketball related question will be asked with the first to answer correctly receiving a pair of sz 12 to 13 game worn sneakers. As I mentioned here, Washington Wizards guard Gilbert Arenas has a penchant for rocking kicks below the ankles, but Agent Zero also experimented with mids early on in his career. Gil wore the sleek, Asimovian a3 Superstar Ultra during his formative years as an NBA’er. The shoe is distinguished by a full-length a3 cushioning unit and “cat tongue” inner lining, a velvet-esque material that soaked up sweat very effectively when your feet got moist. The shoe was complimented by a TPU support bar out back and a straightfoward lacing system that provided uncompromising fit.
