Asics and online retailer PYS have collaborated to bring you the Asics Gel-Lyte III ‘Teal Dragon’.

A full size run is currently available at PYS with a retail price of $79.99. Teal, dragon red, turquoise, white and black are seen throughout marking this popular runner with a recently familiar color scheme that is sure to turn heads.

Any Gel-Lyte III fans out there?

Asics Europe designers Remco and Remko have renovated the Asics Gel Lyte Speed, Gel Lyte III, and GT II to combine the old school with the new school, creating the Asics Runovation Pack. Asics has taken original colorways from original Asics performance models and revamped them with modern day materials to showcase the future of running shoes. All six shoes have mesh panels, white midsoles, and a lot of style for performance shoes. This project isn’t a crazy collaboration with a top brand, nor a gaudy shoe release, but a project that involves innovation and creativity. Check the pictures after the jump to see for yourself.

Asics has worked its way into the sneaker scene through its works with large name retailers, but they continue to release attractive packages away from collaborations including the Runovation Pack. Inside is three classic running models, the GT II, Gel Lyte III and Gel Lyte Speed. The GT II sports a white/gold/black colorway, while the Gel Lyte III and Gel Lyte Spped are made up of white/black/yellow and white/silver/purple respectively. The sneakers appear to focus on important running materials like mesh, but still look stylish enough to wear out. You can pick-up the Asics Runovation Pack now at retailers including Proper.

The Asics Spring/Summer ’09 line recently hit European boutique, hanon. Comprised of colorful new variations of the Gel Lyte III and Gel Lyte Speed, the brand’s new stable emphasizes “running shoe” comfort and resonant color schemes. We’ve featured previews of the Asics Spring/Summer ’09 shoes before, but it never hurts to get another look–each jawn is ill! What’s your favorite model? Asics’ brand presence extends into Europe, where the company’s classic runners are casual cornerstones and high-performance technical shoes have achieved a cult-like following. The troupe debuted their Fall 2009 Collection at the BRIGHT Fashion Tradeshow in Frankfurt, Germany last week. Vivid iterations of the Gel Lyte III highlight the line-up. Via hs.

Asics’ Gel Lyte III emerged last year as favorite among collaborators that included Colette, David Z, Mita Sneakers and Solebox just to name a few. As for 2009, there has been more focus on non-GL III sneakers except for this new batch of Gel Lyte IIIs set to release in February. Included in the drop are four styles made up of red/white/blue, black/white/grey, tan/white/navy or white/red/black. Asics has been one of the biggest surprises of the year serving up great releases by teaming up with big names including Solebox, Mita, David Z, La MJC and the list goes on and go. Here’s a preview of the Gel Lyte III and GT II which will be available early 2009. The January drop will yield three pairs of the GT II and one pair of the Gel Lyte III. The set of GT IIs feature colorways that vibrant and bold which keeps every model different from one another. The GL III also sports a unique color scheme consisting of teal, purple, yellow and black. Look for all four when they release in January. Via hb.
