Many sneakerheads are anxiously anticipating a flurry of releases from Futura x Nike collaborations that have been causing quite the stir as of late. We recently reported that a pair of White-Team Orange Nike Air Force 1 Low’s also worked on by Futura would be arriving at House of Hoops locations and select Foot Lockers come next February. We now have the following update: the pair of Air Force 1 High’s pictured here will also be hitting select Foot Lockers and all House of Hoops locations stateside in February 2010. This pair sports a grey, perf-gradient upper as well as a transluscent outsole. Save now, or you might “pay” for it later when these drop and you’re left on the outside looking in.

Of course when word got out that world-known graffiti artist Futura was at it again with Nike, we brought you the news. One resulting Air Force 1 Low from this collaboration sports a predominantly white upper with a gradient heel in which small dots grow darker as they reach from the mid-panel to the back of the heel. Team orange accents are executed on the entire outsole and top of the tongue, which also sports Futura’s name. At first expected sometime next Spring, we now have word that this white/team orange pair of Air Force 1’s will be made available at House of Hoops locations and select Foot Locker stores come February of 2010. On the bottom of the right foot it reads “BE,” while on the left it reads “TRUE.” How many of you will be copping this pair in an effort to do just that and “be true?”

Nike and Futura team up again to present us with four new models of the legendary Nike Air Force One. Featuring two low-top and two high-top colorways, all shoes in the “True Pack” incorporate a graffiti style “True” logo visible through translucent outsoles. Other traits the four models share include a customary Futura tongue tab and perforated leather uppers. You can expect this product of yet another Futura collaboration to hit select Nike accounts in early 2010.

Nike Sportswear’s collaborative campaign with Lance Armstrong’s LIVESTRONG initiative continues this weekend with the LIVESTRONG x FUTURA Nike Dunk Hi. Inspired by Futura’s Nike Dunk Hi FLOM, the LIVESTRONG limited edition features a colorless money print upper with black/yellow/white. The Nike Dunk Hi x FUTURA (FLOM) x LIVESTRONG is set to release this Saturday, July 18th, for a retail of $150. Futura, a world known graffiti artist, is no new name when it comes to collaborations with Nike. He has teamed up with the folks at Nike for a Dunk SB Low (2003), Dunk SB High (2007), Air Force 1 (2008), and a Dunk High (2009). This time around, the silhouette of choice is an Air Force One (1), and it will release in two colorways. The first pair yields a white upper with orange accents, while the second style hosts a grey upper with white accents. Expect too see the Futura x Nike Air Force 1 at select Nike retailers in the Spring of 2010.

Nike has definitely brought the heat with the Futura x Nike Dunk High FLOM Livestrong Greatest Hits Pack. This Nike Dunk High combines three of Nike’s greatest projects: Futura, Flom, and Livestrong. As part of the Livestrong Stages Collection, this FLOM Dunk High features a black leather base shoe with black swoosh to match the black midsole. To go along with the Livestrong theme, the shoe sports a yellow outsole, laces, and stitching on the sides. The main characteristic, which is reminiscent of the FLOM’s, is the newsprint on the main panels of the shoe. Futura’s John Hancock is etched on the side of the left shoe and FLOM’s “FL” initials on the right shoe. These babies will definitely have a price to match its FLOM predecessor, especially if these are limited to 24 pairs worldwide.

World renowned artist Futura recently linked up with casual icon Clarks to craft his own version of the timeless Wallabee. The boot’s sloping toe and front is engulfed in luxurious black suede, but is distinguished by canvas middle panel that features multicolored paint splotches. The Futura x Clarks Wallabee will be available for purchase on December 8 at Stless.
