Jordan Brand began releasing fusions in 2008 and it is becoming quite obvious that they will continue their newest trend throughout this new year. The latest product of this “love it or hate it” Force Fusion line is the Air Jordan Force Fusion IV which merges characteristics of the Air Jordan 4 with the classic body and midsole of the Air Force 1. This pair is inspired by the AJ4 and any fan of the Jordan numbered line will quickly realize the resemblance. Featuring wings, netting, a shoe lace region, and a back heel tab reminiscent of the Air Jordan IV, this pair will will hit home with the AF1 fans through the use of the classic toebox and midsole which includes Nike’s patented clear air bubble. Though many oppose the concept of fusing two sneakers together, this fusion is definitely one of the better ones we have seen from Jordan Brand in a while. Featuring a high-top cut and an upper reminiscent of the AF1 Mid, this pair yields a black suede base accented by a translucent varsity red midsole. The Air Jordan Force Fusion VI will make its debut in 2009 and we now have a detailed look at a new colorway. Featuring an upper composed mostly of grey suede, this colorway is extremely simple and basic. The only non grey aspects of this sneaker are the white laces, navy midsole, black swoosh, white outsole, and a few red accents seen across the upper of the sneaker. These red accents may be seen on the tongue in the form of a jumpman and inner lining and on the heel in the form of a jumpman as well. This all grey colorway immediately reminds us of many Air Jordan models fully coated in grey such as the latest Air Jordan “Cool Grey” Spizike.
