We all know about Michael Lau’s “10th Gardener” exhibition, and the special edition Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski in the woodgrain design. To further promote the exhibition, Nike SB has released the Michael Lau x Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski 10th Gardener Friends and Family edition. This edition of the shoe is a little different from its woodgrain brother, as it uses a distressed wood print canvas upper to keep with the theme. It uses a white midsole to keep to the white washed wood print tone of the shoe, making it a really clean shoe. Nike employee laced heat (He or she might be unemployed for selling all of this heat, who knows.) is auctioning off this uber-exclusive Friends & Family Nike Zoom LeBron V (5). Originally created in 2007, this size 9 sample tastefully features a vibrant gold upper, black patent leather accents and a leaf/clover pattern stitched into the middle panel . The ZLV’s ornamental midfoot strap and noticeable heel pull tab are incorporated to improve the shoe’s functionality on the court. I’m not sure what ‘Bron’s connection is to New Orleans, so is it even reasonable to assume that these were inspired by the Saints uniforms? As Nike’s Air Max 90 approaches 20 years in the making, we get a glimpse at a special model given only to the friends and family of Nike. Like the past f&f model reported just days ago, this Air Max 90 is comprised of faux white crocodile skin leather upper as well as a white midsole and anthracite sole. White crocodile skin leather appears all throughout the sneaker including the tongue where the logo is embossed. Rumor has it that these sneakers are most likely not going to release to the public and only a few pairs exist. However, it won’t be extremely difficult getting your hands on a pair as they have surfaced online in both colorways.

The Nike Air Max 90 is one of Nike’s greatest running sneakers, and it’s 20th anniversary is coming up next year. While you can expect a ton of great colorways in 2010, Nike has already started designing some new styles for the AM90. This pair was made exclusively in limited numbers for Nike representatives’ “Friends and Family.” Featuring a brown faux crocodile skin upper accented by red laces and a white midsole, this pair yields an overall simple colorway which is nicely contrasted by the unique texture of the faux croc skin.
