There is no doubt that New York has played an important role to the decision of the colors of new Nike models and with the Los Angeles location of the House of Hoops opening, they too have saw L.A based sneakers. The Air Sharkley pictured above illustrates this idea with the soon to be released New York Yankee edition of the Air Sharkley. Nike recently announced a third House of Hoops location will be releasing in Chicago, at North Riverside Park Mall. The Footlocker and Swoosh exclusive concept has earned wide acclaim in Harlem and in Los Angeles, where the second store opened last week. The House of Hoops by Footlocker has aired a new commercial featuring premier NBA athletes including Shawn Marion, Amare Stoudamire and Lebron James. The new T.V spot takes place on a pier with in several different locations ultimately ending at the basketball court of course. It has been rumored that this could be the potential sign of a new House of Hoops being built somewhere, perhaps on the West Coast, we can only hope.
