Things just haven’t been the same since the start of the NBA Lockout. With no season in sight, many NBA superstars have found themselves doing all types of things to stay busy including playing pick up basketball, shooting music videos to showcase their wannabe rap skills, and even applying for part-time jobs to bring in a little extra cash during this tough economic time.

Amar’e Stoudemire clearly has no shame in his game as he recently applied to work at Foot Locker. As funny as it sounds, he even got an interview. Perhaps he should’ve opted for a more professional dress, however, for Amar’e he wasn’t going to allow that to stop him.

Last Saturday, the big opening event for House of Hoops Sacramento started at 2PM with Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings and Ticha Penicheiro from the LA Sparks (and once a member of the Sacramento Monarchs) stopping by. Tyreke touches on why he likes wearing the Nike Hyperdunk and playing overseas (if we do not have a NBA Season this year). Ticha shares the possibility of retiring and what she wants to do after the WNBA and which players were her favorite growing up.

Friday, October 7th Sacramento House of Hoops opened it’s doors to the public. The Friday was the grand opening, while Saturday was the big event with appearances by Ticha Penicheiro and Tyreke Evans. In our first video, we give you a virtual tour of HOH Sacramento. We received a tip from “James”, that the Air Jordan Retro 7 Cardinals are selling now at the Foot Locker in Ingram Park Mall, located in San Antonio. James went in to purchase a pair of Jordan 7 Bordeaux, but when he got home and opened the box, it was the Cardinals instead.

The 2011 Air Jordan 7 Cardinals release June 18th 2011, but as you can see (from the images below) the receipt shows he bought them on the 16th. Clearly this is a big mix up, and it is unknown if they are still selling them.
