A casual, sleek appearance is taking over the sneaker game as of late with brands like Vans gaining much popularity. Converse is joining in those ranks now with their newest pack of sneakers from their Japan series. Featuring four different colorways of the Marine Sea Crisp, Converse has made a pair for everyone. The overall composition of the model is quite simple and yields a tonal canvas upper with a white midsole, white laces, and a unique gingham inner liner. The newest sneaker set to drop from the Air Jordan Six Rings series is the Portland Trailblazers inspired pair seen above. Featuring a predominately white upper with black and red lasering, this pair obviously takes inspiration from the jerseys of the Trailblazers. Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls defeated the Blazers en route to their 1992 NBA Championship and Jordan Brand is honoring the victory by releasing this colorway of the Six Rings. As part of February 2009′s Nike SB collection, this Nike Dunk SB Mid is set to drop. Featuring a multicolored upper with a black shoe lace region and a beige swoosh, this pair seems pretty simple at first look. The defining aspect of this pair that sets it apart from the rest of the February Collection is definitely the plaid print seen on the heel of the sneaker. Aside from the plaid, this pair also sports a black rear, a navy blue toecap, and a white midsole. The Nike Dunk Mid Premium SB – Plaid is set to drop in February 2009. Via PTNC.

The Nike Air Foamposite One is definitely one of the most uniquely designed sneakers to ever be created and is always a huge hit amongst sneakerhreads when it is released. This Eggplant colorway of the Air Foamposite has been looked forward to for months now and these are the first detailed pictures we have of the pair that is set to release in February 2009. Featuring a varsity purple upper, black accents, and a clear sole, this pair is surely worth the wait. As previously mentioned, the eggplant colorway of the Nike Air Foamposite is set to release next month, but as usual some pairs have already appeared on the ‘Bay.

Every year, Nike releases sneakers specifically made for Valentine’s Day, the February holiday which is looked forward to by many people. While the kids in school are giving each other Valentine’s Day cards or a couple is exchanging roses, Nike is producing sneakers that correspond to the holiday. Over the past few years, Nike has been switching it up and releasing different sneaker models inspired by the holiday, but one thing has stayed the same—the use of the color red. This Nike Air Force 2 High holds no exception and features an upper composed mostly of red leather with a heart and skull pattern. Including gold and white accents, this pair incorporates the importance of Valentine’s Day with the stylistic characteristics needed to stay fresh in today’s society. Jordan Brand will continue their legacy of hybridizing two sneakers within the brand to form a new pair utilizing the best of both models in the upcoming year. In the model shown above, the Air Jordan 2 (II) and the Air Jordan 3 (III) are combined; thus, the sneaker is named the Air Jordan 2.5 Team. This sneaker seems to be focused toward providing an excellent basketball experience to players of all ages and skill levels. The Air Jordan 2.5 Team is currently available in some colorways and will be released in seven more colorways in the upcoming year. Four of these upcoming colorways are very similar and the only noticeable difference between each of them is the accent color. Three colorways will release on January 3, 2009 and the remaining four will be released on February 1, 2009. All colorways will retail for $130.
