Etnies recently consorted with Electronic Arts Inc. to create a limited edition Skate 2 RVM shoe that celebrates the etnies GvR Skateboarding Competition’s inclusion into the EA Skate 2 video game. Borrowing inspiration from the skate brand’s rich and storied past, the RVM features tooling and styling similar to the iconic etnies Rap Hi. The model is colored up in a unique black/burnt orange/white scheme and is accented by a “Skate 2″ logo out back along the heel panel. The Etnies x EA Sports Skate 2 RVM will release late this month and will be available exclusively at Zumiez.

Etnies may not be a household name like Nike or Adidas or Reebok, but have made a name for themselves in the skating world. Etnies has just released their Plus Buster, a premium sneaker constructed with waxed laces and mesh tricot lining for comfort. The comfort element of this sneaker is carriered to the STI Foam cushioning footbed and conforming cupsole with an EVA insert. Aesthetically, the Plus Buster features a mid-cut with a brown and beige colorway. Soft full grain leather is paired with perforated side paneling and old school logo patches.
