It’s nice to see that Vans is still going strong with its less-hyped releases, such as this Perforated Pack. The Vans Perforated Pack consists of one Vans Era and one Vans Half Cab in similar colorways. Both use black suede on the front of the upper, and contrasts it with green perforated panels at the heel. This isn’t your ordinary perforated design, though. The pattern features perforated squares and circles to change it up a bit. Finally, both shoes are completed with a clean white midsole with a black stripe through it, and a gumsole as well. Vans Vault keeps coming with the hits, including this Vans Vault Era Atticus. Two cream-based Era’s come in red and green on a canvas upper. The colors dominate the toebox area and heel with an abstract design to intrigue the mind. The shoe sports a white midsole to offset the subtle colors. The red pair comes with extra black laces while the latter comes with matching green laces. These babies come in at about $100 overseas.

We recently saw a Vans collaboration with R. Crumb, and today we have our first look at the products of a recent collaboration between Vans Vault and Robert Williams, an American artist, to create this pack composed of a Vans Chukka and a Vans Era. Both sneakers from this pack feature some of Williams’ artwork on the canvas upper which is accented by a black toebox, white midsole, and Williams’ signature on the rear of the midsole. The Robert Williams x Vans Vault Pack will be available for purchase in July 2009.

Vans has made heavy noise recently with their Reflective pack. Predictably, the California skate brand recently released the lowtop Era in Reflective guise. The shoe features a black canvas toebox, red canvas middle panel, and reflective neon green faux-crocodile print heel cup. The model sits atop a vulcanized midsole that provides durability for skating or other extreme activities. The Vans Era Reflective is available now in Japan.

Vans recently consorted with Holland-based artist Parra to produce three limited versions of classic skate models. The collaboration recently debuted at the BRIGHT fashion showcase in Frankfurt, Germany. Parra drew inspiration for this predominantly white, orange, pink, and powder blue package from memories of boarding as a youth in Europe. The Vans x Parra pack should hit retailers this Fall, so be on the lookout for updates! Via hs.

Utilizing a common theme of black and yellow, the Vans Chukka & Era have been made available at Japanese retailer ABC-Mart. In addition, to this caution tape like combination of colors, other highlights include a black upper featuring a leather toe box and suede side panels with yellow stitching and accents. Finishing off both sneakers is a yellow and black striped design on the outsole. Look for the Chukka and Era at local Vans retailers now.

The last time we saw Parra included in a project was with Nike last year where the Dutch artist designed a pair of Air Max 95s made up of white, red, blue and pink. In 2009, Parra will also be commissioned to put his signature artwork on sneakers, but this time around it is Vans who seeks the well-known artisan. The Parra x Vans Pack consists of the Sk8-Hi and Era as well as matching apparel. The Sk8-Hi features skateboard graphics while the Era is kept in solid colors.
