For many sneakerheads, November was going to be a big month primarily because of the release of the Entourage x Nike SB Dunk Low “Lights Out,” which was meant to commemorate the culmination of the popular HBO tv series. Unfortunately, legal issues have now rendered this release officially canceled. Hopefully, fans WILL eventually get a shot at owning a pair of these; however, we wouldn’t suggest holding your breath any longer than you already have.

With Season 8 underway, Entourage’s “Lights Out” version of the Nike SB Dunk Low is surfacing more and more.

This extremely limited pair is capped at 50, which are only available to friends and family of the cast and crew. In light of that info, it’s not like it matters, but these will be releasing on Black Friday, despite the rumors of an October release.

The “Entourage” branding will be removed for the release and the sneaker will feature a gum sole as opposed to black. Rumor also has it, that it will also feature gold accent stitching.

The creator of the popular HBO series Entourage Doug Ellin, a huge Nike SB fan, strongly pushed for a Nike SB exclusive to be made to commemorate the end of the show. Hot Rod, a shop that Doug Ellin often visits, contributed to help create the Nike SB Dunk Low “Lights Out”. Doug Ellin and the team at Nike borrowed ideas from Air Jordan and Nike SB Collabs shoes to create “Lights Out”. The Entourage exclusive shoe features elephant print like pattern throughout the upper along with Black suede and matching laces. The white midsole finishes up the shoe with black stitching. The Entourage show logo is placed on the tongue where the Nike SB logo lays. Also in the insole you will find “The End” and a clapperboard with the Entourage show logo inside it. Earlier today, we gave you a detailed look at the Entourage x Nike Dunk SB Low Lights Out, and now it has come to our attention a size 9.5 has popped up on eBay. In our previous post, we stated that this release would be a friends and family, but it is unknown if another version will drop. It is said that only 50 pairs were produced of the Entourage Dunk SB Low. As of now, their is 80 bids and at a whopping $3,525.00. Via rynosomuch on eBay.

After 8 long seasons of HBO’s hit series Entourage, the show will come to an end, with the last episode debuting July 24th 2011. Doug Ellin, the creator of Entourage is a huge sneakerhead, and frequently shops Hot Rod in LA. In celebration of the final episode, he wanted to create a Nike Dunk SB, so he reached out to the good people at Hot Rod and they put him in contact with Nike SB. Now we have additional pictures of the Entourage x Nike Dunk SB Low Lights Out. It is said, this release is for friends and family, but this is still in the air. Using black elephant print, the Entourage logo is on the tongue, “The End” on one insole, and a movie clapper board. Stay tuned for more information as it comes.

In light of the final season of Entourage, the creator, Doug Ellin joins forces with Hot Rod and Nike SB to create a Nike Dunk Low Pro SB to commemorate 8 seasons of the popular HBO franchise. Dubbed “Lights Out”, this Nike Dunk SB features an all black upper with panels of  special leather etched with a subtle elephant print pattern.

The tongue of shoe is decorated with the Nike SB badging as well as the “Entourage” logo. The insoles also pay homage to the show with the same logo and the words “The End”. This past weekend, Adam Goldstein AKA “DJ AM” was severely injured in a plane crash. Also in the plane were AM’s drummer, Travis Barker (formerly of Blink 182) and additional family and friends. The crash was deadly, but AM and Barker survived. Without getting into the gruesome details (which are all over the news), we would like to pay a little video homage to DJ AM, the sneaker head who calls his sneaker cellar “the icebox!”

Here’s a clip of DJ AM’s appearance in Entourage, where he competes with “Vince” and “Turtle” for a pair of the shoes we now call the Undefeated (UNDFTD) Entourage Air Force 1.
