The last time the eggplant color wasn’t on the Nike Foamposite, it was placed on the Nike Big Nike. This time around, the eggplant design has reached the Nike Air Max Foamdome. The Nike Air Max Foamdome is a hybrid between the Nike Foamposite and Nike Air Max Goadome Boot, and it’s made its way to an eggplant colorway to spruce up the low-key model. The shoe features a varsity purple/black-metallic silver colorway, with the signature eggplant upper, along with a black Air Max unit midsole and boot sole. Black leather is placed on the toebox and inner lining to keep the shoe two-toned. If you’re feeling this crazy combo of a shoe, then wait til December rolls around and the shoe drops.

Just like the recent release of the Nike Hyperdunk, Nike is taking the classic Eggplant colorway from the Nike Flightposite and putting it on the Nike Big Nike. The Big Nike features the eggplant leather upper, with a mere black stitched outline of the swoosh. It comes complete with a black midsole to match the black “NIKE” print on the heel, as well as the inner lining and lace area. To give the shoe some extra flavor, it has a grey speckled outsole to match the concrete we walk on. This shoe releases this month so be sure to get your own pair soon.

The “Eggplant” Nike Air Foamposite One was released earlier this year, and it seems as though the folks over at Nike have decided to implement the Eggplant colorway onto the Hyperdunk silhouette. This pair hosts a metallic purple upper accented by a black mid-panel, purple flywire, a white midfoot, black laces, and a black out-sole. Overall, this pair yields a fresh new colorway that is definitely reminiscent of the aforementioned classic basketball sneaker. Unfortunately, there is currently no concrete information regarding the release of the Nike Hyperdunk “Eggplant,” so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

After several preview posts of the Eggplant Nike Air Flightposite 1 and several others, we now have a specific release date and price, October 11th and a retail value of $180. This Air Flightposite is made up of a combination of black, metallic silver and purple eggplant, a soft combination that gradual changes throughout the sneaker. Furthermore, when unzipped, the sneaker reveals its lacing area, a nice little feature that adds a nice touch on and off the court. Be sure to check with your local retailer next month.
