The Nike Air Yeezy 2 has undoubtedly been the primary focus of sneaker goers here on SneakerFiles over the past few months, and as time passes the highly anticipated Kanye West sneaker will only continue to heat up conversation on our site.

What might come as a relief to most Nike Air Yeezy fans who missed out on the 2009 release, a complete deadstock collection of all three colorways – Zen Grey/Light Charcoal, Black/Pink, and Net/Net – is now available for sale in an online auction from mjmurphy923 on eBay.

Some 16 years ago, Nike released the Air Jordan 10 “City Series” pack representing five cities including Chicago, New York, Sacramento, Seattle, and Orlando.

The green, black, and white colorway inspired by the city of Seattle became a true staple to the collection with its original detailing and premium leather upper. Although this colorway has not seen a retro release, you have a chance to scoop up an OG pair now on eBay. The size 10 available now is in dead stock condition and comes with original packaging. We’ve all seen originals come and go on eBay, yet this auction, hosted by our friends at Sole Supremacy, is one of the most complete listings I’ve personally seen at this point.

These OG Black/ Red AJ1′s are used, however, they come with everything the original owner received with his purchase. From the sneakers themselves to the alternate laces, there is nothing left out of this particular auction. Its like a time capsule from 1985… receipt is included (the guy paid $42!!!) along with a bunch of other goodies including the hang tag, booklet describing materials and performance attributes, ‘Wings’ tag, box and even the original Foot Locker bag he brought them home in!

When anyone dies it is usually a sad moment in time, which can only begin to get better through a grieving and remembrance process. But when someone often in the public eye and who chose to embrace the role he/she played in this world passes away, it reaches people from all over with varying backgrounds and in different situations. That was exactly the case when word got out of DJ AM’s passing away. However, his death should not cloud our memory of him or leave us forever dejected because a vibrant spirit such as DJ AM’s would have wanted none of that. And as we continue on our way to dealing with his and many other deaths, we are better off using what we learned from those people to live better, happier lives instead of stay stuck in an often confusing present.

One way in which we now have the opportunity to do this is by supporting the DJ AM Memorial Fund, which aims to help support others who face constant battles with addiction. In that spirit, DJ AM’s VERY extensive size 11 shoe collection will be auctioned off through eBay starting this Sunday November 15, 2009. ALL of the proceeds will benefit the fund’s initiatives and depict how much one can have an impact, even after leaving us for good.
