Eddie Cruz has recently collaborated with Nike to work on two pairs of Dunk Highs. There are two colorways, both of which were spotted on the UNDFTD blog. These two pairs are interesting for the fact they both carry designs that resemble fish scaling. Eddie Cruz probably had these made specifically for him, and these will most likely never see a release date.

With May only a few days away, a shipment of new Nike womens models have hit Got Sole? The Dunk High pictured consists of snakeskin paneling with a turquoise swoosh. Though Dwight Howard was unsuccessful in winning the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest this past weekend, his sneakers were definitely on point. Throwing down a plethora of amazing dunks including easily dunking on a 12 foot high rim, Howard surely gave 5′9 Nate Robinson a run for his money. Eventually Nate aka Kryptonate won the contest while dunking over his 6′11 competitor, Dwight Howard. For the Slam Dunk Contest, Dwight was rocking this Superman inspired colorway of the adidas TS Bounce Commander. Featuring a blue patent leather upper with red and yellow accents, this pair definitely brings out the superhero in all of us. To cap it all off, adidas has also included a Superman logo on the heel of the sneaker as well as Dwight’s number, 12, on the midsole. The NBA All Star Weekend kicked off last night with the Rookie Challenge and today, the Haier Shooting Stars, Play Station Skills Challenge, Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout, and the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest all took place. The day was quite action packed with the underdog, Daequan Cook, winning the Three Point Contest while Derrick Rose won the Play Station Skills Challenge, and Team Detroit finished first in the Haier Shooting Stars. Sneaker wise, the day was also quite action packed with interesting sneaker choices from athletes including Michael Cooper rocking the Nike Think Pink – Hyperdunk and Dwight Howard rocking a Superman player exclusive colorway of the adidas TS Bounce Commander.

The newest Nike SB Dunk to release is the black and baltic blue pair shown above which draws inspiration from the theme of an Angel and a Devil. The Angel and Devil theme is not evident at first, but after a quick look at the insole, the inspiration becomes quite obvious. Featuring a black upper with a blue toebox, ankle, and swoosh, this pair has a clean and sleek look. Nike has incorporated a bit more color into this pair by including red accents on the tongue, the heel, and the swoosh outline.
