Fresh off our Nike Basketball Spring 2010 Preview, we now present to you a preview of some of the Nike SB sneakers set to release in Spring ‘10. The Nike Dunk SB will be releasing in three colorways: black/white, black/white-red, and brown/red-tan. Nike SB will also debut some signature models such as the P-Rod 2.5, Omar Salazar Pro Model, and the Stefan Janoski Pro Model. The Blazer SB will be releasing in both high and low cut variations, while the Dunk High SB will drop in two styles accompanied by the matching apparel. Yesterday, we detailed the horrific and utterly shameless looting of Los Angeles based consignment store the Holy Grail and the manager’s guarded optimism of a potential reopen and recovery of goods. Today, HG’s owner Richard Torres maintained that insurance would cover the estimated value of the stolen kicks, accessories and apparel. Torres and his staff have already begun rebuilding the store’s broken down facade and would appreciate any spiritual support, donation of time, or value of service. While Jordan Brand continues to use polka dots on their sneakers, Nike has started to bring a speckle print pattern onto their high-top basketball model, the Dunk High. This style of the Dunk hosts a black base accented by volt laces, yellow speckles, a black patent leather swoosh, and a volt tongue tag. Overall, this pair yields a fresh and unique colorway that definitely sways away from the typical Dunk colorways. Not too long ago, we broke news that Nike would be releasing a Gucci inspired Nike Dunk High Supreme Spark, but it seems as though a Dunk High Pro SB will actually release instead. Though that is probably music to most sneakerheads’ ears, there is still no confirmation from Nike on which style will drop. Whatever the case may be, this Dunk High SB hosts a green upper accented by a red swoosh, denim paneling, a white mid-sole, red out-sole, and black laces. Compared to the ultra-limited 2005 Nike Dunk SB High Gucci, this pair hosts smoother denim, a black heel tab rather than a red heel tab, and less denim ridges. Please note that this pair is only a sample, and changes may be made before the Nike Dunk High Pro SB Gucci releases later this year.

Whenever Nike places a sneaker in the “premium” category, you can be sure that the materials used on that sneaker will be of the highest quality. Thus, this Dunk High Premium hosts an off-white premium leather upper accented by black paneling, electric blue laces, and a black mid-sole. Another key feature of this pair is the unique perforations made into the mid panel. Overall, this Dunk High yields a clean and simple colorway which is nicely contrasted by the bright blue laces. Unfortunately, there is no known release information for the White/Black-Electric Blue Nike Dunk High Premium, so be sure to stay tuned for updates.

The Nike Dunk, an iconic basketball sneaker that is constantly re-issued in fresh colorways, will be releasing in a new purple based style this Summer. Though the pictures give the sneaker a darker look, this style of the Dunk Low hosts a grand purple upper with volt accents seen on the laces and out-sole, while grey accents are visible via the mid-sole and tongue tag. The Nike Dunk Low CL – Grand Purple/Volt should be available at your local Nike retailers either late June or early July.

Yesterday, we showcased the Swan/Anthracite/Volt Nike Dunk High ND, and we now have our first look at another Dunk from Nike’s upcoming East collection. This styles comes in low-top form, and it features an anthracite nubuck upper accented by a white mid-sole, a black out-sole, and a volt yellow speckle effect running from the toecap to the heel. Overall, this pair yields a rather simple colorway which is contrasted by the unique speckle effect, and is definitely worth checking out as the release date nears.
