Every season, Nike releases the hottest new colorways of the Dunk High. Though most of the colorways are typically for males, Nike does a rather adequate job in producing clean sneakers for their female fans. In Fall 2009, Nike will be dropping the Metallic Pack, which is composed of three new styles of the Nike Womens Dunk High Skinny. The first pair hosts a tonal grey upper, while the second pair yields a gold upper with black accents. The final sneaker features a red upper with shiny black accents. The Nike Metallic Pack is expected to release in the upcoming months.

Nike Sportswear shops are restocking three classic Nike Dunk colorways starting in January 2010 at select locations worldwide. The Retro will return in white/varsity blue, white/varsity red, and white/varsity orange and feature mesh and textured leather middle panels. There’s no word yet on how much these will yield at retail, but expect to see the Nike Dunk at select Nike Sportswear locations early next year.

Including the classic mean green color on a sneaker has become an emerging trend from Nike this year with key releases such as the Air Max 90, Air Force 1, and Blazer 2K9 all featuring mean green accents on the upper. The latest sneaker to follow the aforementioned trend is the Dunk Low CL, which yields a hyper blue upper with volt accents seen on the laces, outsole, and tongue. A key aspect of this pair is the rear portion of the sneaker which is coated in metallic platinum patent leather. The “Mean Green” Nike Dunk Low CL is now available overseas, and will be available at stateside retailers shortly.

As part of their September 2009 collection, Nike SB is set to release a new colorway of three models: the Dunk SB High, Blazer SB, and the Stefan Janoski SB Pro Model. The Dunk High features a red perforated leather upper with black, and white accents. The Blazer SB hosts a grey upper with orange and white accents, while the SB Stefan Janoski yields a red suede base with white, brown, and black accents. Nike sponsored golfers wore this exclusive Nike Dunk Low in the clubhouse during the 2009 PGA Championship this past weekend. The retro shoe features a varsity blue leather upper with a varsity maize overlay and accents on the toebox and Swoosh. “2009 PGA Championship” is inscribed on the Dunk’s rear; this particular pair was created for Paul Casey. The Nike Dunk Low PGA Championship 2009 is strictly for the tournament’s participants and will not release at retail locations.

Many have claimed that recent Nike SB releases have not been upto par, but it seems as though Spring 2010 could bring the Nike skateboarding division back to the top. Today, we have a look at six sample Nike SB Dunks that are expected to release in Spring ‘10. At the release event of the Concepts x Nike SB Blue Lobster Dunk at Concepts, we spotted the Nike SB Yellow Lobster Dunk, which was rumored to be more exclusive than any other sneaker in the SB Lobster Dunk series. We now have new pictures and more information about that pair to share. The SB Yellow Lobster Dunk was supposedly created by the folks over at Nike specifically for Concepts employees, and will most likely never make its way to any retailers.
