In January of 2009, Nike will be releasing their most popular model, the Nike Dunk SB, in a halo/zitron colorway. Though the name of the colorway may sound foreign to most sneakerheads, the colors used on the sneaker definitely are not. Even with the colorway yielding a light brown upper accented by a yellow swoosh and a cream midsole, this pair features a far from simple color scheme. The complexity of this colorway is exhibited through the use of bright blue and green leather on the rear and the front of the sneaker, respectively. The gum midsole finishes off this colorway and gives it a nice, clean look. These will be released in limited quantities as part of Nike SB’s January collection and you can pre-order your pair today at Kix-Files.

Two new womens Nike models have hit Got Sole? a few weeks prior to their expected release in January. The first of the two is a Dunk Low consisting of white, metallic silver and rave pink. Alongside this womens Dunk Low, other similar designs will be featured in this design in a variety of colors. Following this Dunk Low is the second new release, a womens Vandal High Premium. This Vandal utilizes a pattern on the upper with grit, neo turquoise, golden glow and newsprint making up the rest of the sneaker. Nike opened their Sportswear doors in Sao Paulo, Brazil and sold this Dunk Low at the launch. This Brazil model features a combination of leather and buttery suede on top of its purple on purple color scheme. However, purple isn’t the only color found on this sneaker. Black lining and a white mid-sole tone down the amount of purple. Additional information has yet to be released, but this Dunk Low is now available at Nike Sportswear Sao Paulo. Via SC.

As part of Nike SB’s 2009 collection, Nike will be releasing this pair of SB Dunk Low which features a unique orange and purple colorway. Sporting a white midsole and black inner lining, this pair combines the simplicity of recent Nike colorways with the complexity needed to make an excellent sneaker. The most interesting aspect of this sneaker is the use of purple denim to accent the orange upper. The insole of this Purple Denim Nike SB Dunk Low is also very unique in the sense that we have not seen anything like this before. No word yet on the significance of the skateboarder on the insole, but we are noticing this same skateboarder appear on many of Nike SB’s 2009 releases. Earlier today, we featured a preview of many Nike Dunk Lows that will be releasing in 2009. Of that bunch, we now have pictures of a pair of Nike Zoom Air Dunk Low’s that feature a light pink upper with very delicate detailing. At first look, this pair may just be seen as a Nike Dunk Low with a pink upper and a white swoosh, but after looking a bit closer, the eyes will surely pick up on the delicate detailing that makes this pair special. The details in this Nike Zoom Air Dunk Low yield pictures of leaves, flowers and thorns on what appears to be a light pink leather upper. One of the more rare and harder to find sneakers in our Best Halloween Shoes countdown is the Nike’s Freddy Krueger Dunk SB Low. Ranked 4th, this Dunk SB Low is of course inspired by none other than the fictional Nightmare on Elm St character, Freddy Kruger. The sneakers consists of Freddy’s outfit colors and stripes as well as his being hit with his skin color, blood splatter and finished off with a silver swoosh. The Freddy Krueger Dunk Low SB won’t be hitting stores anytime soon and only samples can be found in the marketplace.

There has been much speculation about the release date of the “Goretex” Medicom x Nike SB Dunk Low, but Parisian retailer Starcow has reported that they recieved a shipment this past weekend. This special make-up of the SB Dunk Low consists of designs by Medicom which includes a Goretex upper offering a wateproof material that’s perfect for rainy day skate sessions. Also appearing on the collab Dunk SB is different shades of grey, slightly reminiscent of the Medicom 3 Dunk SB Low. Unfortunately, Starcow has also announced that they have sold out of the sneakers.
