Nike SB (Skateboarding) has made a name for itself by pairing superheros and villain themes with Nike Dunks. This particular pair is an FT Sample One-of-One inspired by Heath Ledger’s Joker character from the latest Batman flick. The shoe is toned in purple/green/white and features suede, flannel, and canvas with a gum bottom to finish things off! I swear, Nike purposely decides to leave joints like this in the sample room for the simple purpose of agonizing the kid, no’m sayin’! Nike SB recently teamed up with NJ Skate Shop to produce the Dunk Low SB “Toxic Avenger”. The shoe’s premium leather upper and brown/light brown/yellow/green/black/red color scheme is inspired by New Jersey’s first super hero, Toxic Avenger. The shoe goes without the “fat tongue”, a measure taken by the SB camp to make their shoes more wearable in a casual environment. The release date for the Nike SB Dunk Low x NJ Skate Shop “Toxic Avenger” is unknown currently, but we’ll update when we learn more!

With tomorrow marking the first day of December, Nike SB retailers will be receiving their stock for the month. The new SBs will include the “Batman” Dunk SB Mid, Dunk Low SB, Blazer Low SB and P-Rod II. The highly anticipated Batman Dunk SB Mid features a grey upper with black swoosh and laces and yellow highlights, a similar design can be found on the P-Rod II also releasing alongside the mid-top;. Other releases include a safari printed Dunk Low and subtle brown and white Blazer Low. The collection will be released next month at retailers and tomorrow at DQM.
