Ever since their collaboration with Mr. Kanye West, Louis Vuitton have been pushing for a hot designer sneaker line. Well you can assume that LV have succeeded, especially with their upcoming release of a new model: the Louis Vuitton Tower. The Tower comes in a low and mid form. The midtop sports an all black tone with premium leather and patent set with an embossed allover monogram at the heel. The lowtop comes in all white black/white/green colorways, both following the monogram design. These designer shoes are set to release Summer 2010 at some pretty luxurious prices.

Christian Louboutin, best known for his sexy red soled stilettos, is slowly venturing into the world of Mens footwear. The Louis is from the Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2010 line. The studded high top comes in black or white leather and retails for $1,200. Of course fashion forward producer and lead singer/rapper of N.E.R.D., Pharrell Williams is pictured rockin’ a pair of these sneakers after the jump

Marc Jacobs Spring/Summer 2010 Footwear line has emerged. The sneakers (high and low top) are very basic, neutral colors and not a lot of frills. The cool textures on the checkerboard print look sharp, and appear to be leather and suede; reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton Damier high tops. Now that Marc Jacobs designs for Louis Vuitton, he’s seemingly borrowing from himself! No word on the prices as of yet.

Luxury Lanvin sneakers have been spotted on everyone from Michelle Obama to Jay-Z. So it’s no surprise that they are some great designer sneakers in the Fall 09/Winter 10 line. These khaki and gray Lanvin High Trainers were ripped from the runway. The design house flipped the classic laced high trainer by combining several materials; jersey, felt and suede resulting in a super luxe and eye catching sneaker. Also an attention grabber are the metal eyelet pieces. These trainers are hot and can be worn with just about anything. Lanvins unfortunately are not recession friendly, the High Trainers retail for $895.

Alessandro Dell’Acqua is another fashion designer to capitalize on the demand for luxe sneakers.  His spring 2009 collection includes a line of high and low tops.  Like Lanvin and YSL, Alessandro Dell’Acqua keeps the design style of the sneaker classic and uses embellishments (patent leather, velcro straps and hardware) to make the shoe pop.  The white leather and Vernice Blue patent shown above comes in other variations including nylon and patent leather. Alessandro Dell’Acqua Patent Leather Sneaker retails for $393.

Kanye West’s line of men’s sneakers for luxury brand Louis Vuitton aka Louis Vuitton Dons has reportedly shipped to stores and has a release date of July 1st. Sadly the Kanye West x Louis Vuitton Women’s sneakers featured by on his blog back in January 09 seems to never made it past the sample room floor. Wonder why his women’s shoe didn’t make it into production. I wasn’t in love with the sample, not a huge fan of a tassel, but ladies like their luxury sneaks too. What really would be hot is if Kanye did a matching bag and sneaker! Maybe the shoe will be released once Louis Vuitton gages how well the men’s line does. The Kanye West x Louis Vuitton line for men is pricey, ranging from $975-$1140.

Maison Martin Margiela is back with another pair of hot high top sneakers. Check out the Ankle Sneaker from their Fall/Winter 09 line. The cut out design combines leather and patent and the rubber gum sole give the shoe a retro, cool feel. The contrast of the all black colorway and the white laces really make these sneakers pop. They are a bit pricey as most designer sneaks. The Maison Martin Margiela Ankle Sneaker retails for $600 at Saks.
