DC Life plans to unveil a “Please Stand By” collection in conjunction with Art Basel Miami 2010. The impetus for this collection stems from the evolution of technology and communication, and how both have come to increasingly affect our lives in a relatively short period of time. This collection consists of the DC Life Admiral SE and Sector 7 SE. Both pairs will consists of leather and suede uppers, while they will sit atop transluscent soles that, collectively, read “PLEASE STAND BY.” The project will be on display at the Primary Flight during December 4th’s Art Basel in Miami. Moreover, the Admiral SE and the Sector 7 SE are both available for purchase from DCshoes at the going rate of $100 and $90, respectively.

Rob Dyrdek’s new signature, the DC Royal, has just launched in a new colorway.

This Grey/ Lime colorway is skate ready. With resilient ‘Action Leather’ / patent leather on the uppers, DC logo hits on the tongue, a signature ankle strap with a hook & loop system. Lightweight foam was added to the tongue and inner liner as well as a cushioned footbed and DC’s performance wrap cupsole.

DC Life has recently adapted to the colder nights with the release of several different colorways of the Lieutenant WR boots. Now we take a look ahead to when the days start getting a little warmer once again. For the footwear brand’s Spring 2011 collection some different pairs of the DC Villain Vulc have been designed. DC Shoes connected with SE Bikes again in 2010 for a special edition fixed gear, and now this is an update that most SE retailers have the bike available. Featuring a loud, yet very noticeable orange, velocity rims, and BMX style handlebars, the bike is in its own class as a complete trick bike build. The price is at $1,000, and is limited to 1,500, so obtaining one can be on the difficult side if you wait too long. Earlier this month we showed you a preview of the DC Life Admiral 2010 collection. Since then, DC Life has worked with Probus NYC on the Admiral Sport sneaker silhouette, with the result being three pairs of the “Probot” pictured here. The launch event for these sneakers is actually tonight, March 18, from the Probus store in 714 West 181st Street in New York City starting at 7PM.
