DC Shoes has once again teamed up with Hotel On Rivington in New York for their fourth collaborative sneaker. The result this time is the HOR x DC Life Admiral Sport. The Admiral Sport comes in a mean and clean black colorway, utilizing a premium black leather upper with an off-white midsole which features “HOTEL ON RIVINGTON” lasered towards the heel. The black upper is offset by a red ankle strap to match the strong presence of red within the dark hotel. This Admiral Sport is set to release as part of the Spring 2010 collection starting next January, available at select DC accounts and online.Via Marcus Troy.

The latest preview from DC’s Life Spring/Summer 2010 collection comes in the form of an exciting neon Xander TX colorway. With a predominantly Fluorescent Lime upper, the model features hits of Silver and Orange on the tongue and side panel. The sneaker also incorporates the use of a mesh textile through its heel collar and tongue. The bold color scheme certainly invokes the comparison to Nike’s ‘Tennis Ball’ Hyperdunk, but the DC release twists the classic skate shoe silhouette into the mix. No word on an official released date, but keep your eyes peeled for more information as we get closer to 2010.

The last time we saw DC Shoes team up with Linkin Park co-frontman Mike Shinoda, they created the DC Shoes Xander. For their third collaboration, DC Life has called in Mike and fellow Linkin Park member Joe Hahn, as well as LA-based retailer Suru, to create the Suru x DC Life Xander. The Xander comes in a Suru black and blue colorway, with a black leather upper and blue inner lining and contrast stitching. It comes complete with a white midsole with grey accents, and a clear outsole designed by Mike. Joe Hahn gave his own touch on the shoe’s insole, although not pictured here. Suru makes its name on the side panel and tongue tag, completing this team effort. To build the hype, this shoe is limited to 500 pairs, along with a possible in-store signing in December.

Summer news regarding DC shoes included a collaboration with Ken Block. DC Shoes has now teamed up with acclaimed sneaker customizer SBTG to result in a sneaker apparently dubbed “The Fly,” a part of the Royale Fam Circus of Mutants collection DC plans to release as early as Spring of 2010. The sneaker comes in a predominantly black colorway with lime green and white accents. This collection will also include caps that complement the sneaker pretty well. DC Shoes footwear co-creator and car enthusiast Ken Block has merged his two greatest hobbies together with new variations of the DC Manteca 3 lowtop and DC Spartan High. The Spartan’s black/white/yellow/green color scheme is finished off by a vulcanized midsole and racing details. The black/white/lime green Manteca features a “DC” logo across the midfoot and racing inspired detailing. The pack is accompanied by Subaru x Monster racing jackets and hats. Earlier on, we saw a glimpse of the DC Shoes Volcano DSTX from the shoe company’s Summer 2009 Life Collection. This time around, we have a line-up of shoes as part of the collection. The Life Collection consists of the Volcano DSTX and DS, as well as the Xander in two colorways, and the Dress Sneaker TX. The Volcano DS and Dress Sneaker TX both come in navy colorways, using canvas uppers and navy midsoles. The Xander’s come in metal silver/black and taupe/stone, both with white midsoles. Check these shoes out for the summer!
